  1. I remember SSP reporting that he only saw one completed pass during the scrimmage a couple of weeks ago. I'm thinking this performance isn't a fluke. I also don't think UT's defense is near as good as what some posters seem to think it is. I am really really concerned this can't be fixed in the short term. I've never seen an offensive performance this bad.
  2. That's horse****. We (the fans) pay good money to go to these games and buy merchandise. Did I expect a win against UT...not really. What I did expect was to be entertained by a good showing. What I saw was one of the most embarrassing offensive performance I have ever seen. The fans deserve better. Why should I pay more money to go see that again?
  3. The offensive line was terrible as well.
  4. Very weird. Do you think assistant ADs publicly call out position coaches at other schools?
  5. Mac keeps mentioning Dajon in passing during these interviews. It makes me think he hasn't totally given up on the kid.
  6. I'm excited for the new Scrappy "with attitude"!
  7. Sure. Now if he'll just learn to pass like a quarterback.......
  8. Ahhhh..it was late...usually I'm good with the sarcasm..
  9. Yeah.. I can't believe the NCAA would allow a school with a losing record to play in a bowl game... oh wait...
  10. RV hires loser coach after loser coach after loser coach in sport after sport after sport. He's a great salesman, but he just can't identify, hire, or retain talent. He has to go. The state of affairs of our athletic program is abysmal and, taken as a whole, has been so for most of his tenure (and honestly has gotten worse). I have no reason to believe anything will ever get better under him. He really does need to go.
  11. Been to their campus. Been to their games. I live 15 minutes from there tops. I don't want them. They just don't really add anything we don't already have in the conference. Outside of the Texas Tech game they haven't drawn well. They get very little local coverage. They remind me a lot of us... just with a much smaller market. No thanks.
  12. C'mon guys. I'm just saying a clever person could do something special with "U-La-La" and the letters "UNT". Let's go gutter people. It's the only way to reach Internet forum immortality.
  13. You doofus. They keep stats using the metric system instead of using our imperial units. Remember: Braziallian unit x 9/5 + 32 = USA unit. This guy is a beast...
  14. Sigh.. so we have a case here with a completely different set of facts, but people want to be snarkey and act like it's all the same. It's not, and it is intellectually dishonest to act like it is.
  15. Heh. I did a Hitler video after we lost to FIU last year, but didn't finish the last 20 seconds or so of the video and forgot about it until now. Fun stuff.
  16. Okay 1. I'm deleting my previous post, as it was a little over the line in subject nature even though I was joking and I don't want to offend anyone. 2. (and this is my last post) I seriously think you have some sort of reading comprehension issue. I never said OU wasn't a power in earlier years. It obviously was, I was just trying to pick a period where they have had fairly unbroken success. I don't know if you're trolling me, or autistic, or just really bored, but I'm done.
  17. I don't know what you want from me. I just grabbed the first 2 articles I saw. Here are a couple more. Is the Tulsa World a reputable source? Is Sports Illustrated a reputable source? I can keep doing this all day if you'd like. It doesn't really matter, I remember exactly what happened as it was all over the sports news shows at the time. http://www.tulsaworld.com/sportsextra/OU/article.aspx?subjectid=92&articleid=20111002_11_A1_CUTLIN368500 http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/andy_staples/09/21/pac.12.realignment/index.html?sct=cf_t11_a1 The fact is that Oklahoma + Oklahoma State alone were not an attractive expansion option for the PAC-12. That isn't to say OU isn't a great football school, it's probably been one of the top 3 programs overall over the past 15 years. All I'm saying is that while it has a very devoted fan base (those are the folks who buy jerseys and fill up stadiums), there simply aren't enough casual fans (due to the population of the State of Oklahoma) to provide enough eyeballs on TV sets to put it in the same category as Texas, Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, etc. That's not a slam so I'm not sure why you're going all unibomber on me. I'm sure there a plenty of others who disagree with me, but nobody else is wound up about it like you.
