I hope this week hasn't been too much of a distraction. Don't need to stump our toe against Liberty after such a great week. GO MEAN GREEN!

We were approached several times (mostly older fans) and congratulated for playing a good game. Very classy as I'm sure they were humiliated by the loss. I reciprocated by saying that times will get better once Morris gets his type of players (insert QB) here.

The night we beat Cincinnati in the NOB, I told my wife then, that we may never see a better football team at North Texas. Ever. However, I may just have to adjust my thinking on that. THIS may be the best football we've ever seen at North Texas and the season has just started. Good things are happening at the University of North Texas and not just athletics. Thank you President Smatresk, the BOR, Wren Baker and Seth Littrell. Let's hope new contracts are coming for all. Buy season tickets. Join the MGSF GO MEAN GREEN!

I've always wanted our band to wear fedoras, sports coats and tie and sunglasses ala, the Blues Brothers to reflect our jazz heritage. To me, that would be awesome!
