Since we don't appear to have anyone (with the exception of Jacob Holmen) who can shoot the ball, is there a chance we see Clarke Overlander being worked onto the court to provide that outside threat when the other team starts to pack it in with the zone? Is he a wash, or is he still getting use to the speed of the college game? We need some consistent shooters on this team. GO MEAN GREEN!

The question I have is not how / if he will recruit, but rather, do you play to win games? As someone stated in another post, I'd rather have Thompson throw interceptions trying to win the game, rather than us hunkering down trying not to lose. Let's go down swinging with what we have instead of wimping out and losing anyway. I mean, $hite! We're a 4 win team for crying out loud. Go for it!

As a program, we have made one mistake after another, beginning with the God-awful to drop down to 1-AA years ago, and we are feeling the effects of that decision today. Shitty conferences, shitty support, shitty coaches and up until a couple of years ago, shitty facilities. Because of all this, we have found ourselves on the outside looking as far as football is concerned. Coach Mac is building a team the right way, through high school recruits and red shirting, but we have run out of time. The Dodge experience set us back ten years, and we're about to pay the price for the un-forseeable future. We suck now, but a real program takes a long time to build. Unfortunetly, we have run out of time. We'll be relegated to second tier going forward because of the decisions of the past.

I've always the band to go the "Jazz" look with black pants, a green sport coat, a black fidora hat (a la Tom Landry) and sunglasses. Now THAT would be cool. I think it would also be cool if one senior (different one for each home game) would do a solo "Star Spangled Banner" before every home game. They use to do that at the Cowboy games years ago. It was a great radition that JJ let go of.
