  1. It will certainly be interesting to see how an offensive-minded coach does in the SEC West. I think coach Spurrier, who had some of the greatest offenses is showing us how it works in the SEC East.
  2. At least we had the 3 J's in the 90's. Now, we've only got 1 German.
  3. Now the Ticket is reporting that Kidd backs out of his contract in favor of the Knicks. Summer of 2013 = Draft Tony Mitchell in the lottery and hopefully land some kind of decent FA.
  4. And if it goes the other way: "WHAT?!?! I pay all of this money to be at a privileged level in the Mean Green Club, but any schmuck can just walk right up and watch practice? Where are the perks for my contribution?" It's a lose-lose. You can't please everyone every time.
  5. Good pickup for coach Marlin. Hopefully coach Benford can run him out of local HS coaches offices, because I highly doubt he plans on going anywhere. There will probably be an uptick in incoming talent at ULL, and we all know coach Marlin is quality. Watch for ULL to dominate the SBC for years to come (starting in 2013-14)... until they get called elsewhere.
  6. Of course. I sit next to Side Show Joe in Sec. 205, row 4. We've got the seatbacks too! Come visit us.
  7. Liberty and Ticket City bowls go to the Big East with Memphis and SMU right?
  8. He was an even better Sheriff. Did you see his staff? It's a wonder his county didn't burn down daily.
  9. It's OK. By the year 2020, the BCS will have a contract with UNT to guarantee we have one of the 4 playoff spots.
  10. Ask a Texas fan which team (OU or A&M) they would rather lose to, if they had to lose 1. It wont be a landslide, but I bet most would say they would rather lose to OU so they don't have to deal with hearing it from Aggies.
  11. Still, that's only 4 home games with the only one worth a flip being Houston. I'd take this year's schedule a million times over '75s, even if it means no win @ Neyland.
  12. Gotta believe McDorman was in his ear too. Nice to see that he was interested in academics, and not just the athletic facilities... Can't see why he wouldn't like the business building. It's fancy.
  13. Texas VS Texas A&M ≠ Auburn VS GA Tech. Texas VS Texas A&M ~ Auburn VS Alabama. Could you imagine Auburn VS Alabama going away? Believe it or not, Texas VS Texas A&M is probably bigger than Texas VS Oklahoma... and there is not a school in the SEC that Aggie fans would rather beat more than Texas. That will never, ever change because you have never seen "traditions" before until you've seen the Aggies.
  14. Does anyone recall if Whitfield played any D while at Sherman?
  15. The 50-game-win streak ended this season (not even close). If your scenario comes true, we may not get a lottery pick high enough to draft Tony (the Mavs still have Dirk) but you can kiss the consecutive playoff birth streak goodbye as well.
  16. The last time I tried to fully read one of his posts, my contact lens dried out.
  17. I think UNT has been trying to get a Pharmacy school passed, but have hit snags in state voting due to budget issues....
  18. What else is new? The Mavs haven't drafted well (always-hurt Roddy B not withstanding) since they picked Devin Harris.
  19. Hmmm. Coincidence that today is also SilverEagle's birthday? The pic is a sham everyone. Finkle is Einhorn!
  20. Love how he just owns Antwan Space. Space should be a nice piece for A&M.
  21. Just need to watch out for coach Jones' lazy, poor-recruiting coaches to start offering these guys around late January/early February. We need to have at least a 6-6 season this year, or we may experience a few Chase Walling/Sam Rice scenarios.
  22. Haven't they already approved our school though? If we get an approval, then we do not get a law school, the BOR should have no choice but to boot Lee Jackson. It would be a COLOSSAL failure of epic proportions for our university. I don't think that will happen though, and we will keep our law school in Dallas.
