I think we all know why Dodge is not a college HC anymore... and it wasn't because of his mis-management of redshirts. Alot of folks are projecting UNT as a bubble-type bowl team. Do you mean to tell me that if Warner is ready to go for the Houston game (game 6), and would upgrade our pass defense (he went into spring practice as our #1 corner), that you'd rather keep him on the shelf? Houston is going to be throwing the ball. The following week, conf. champion LALa comes to town for a Nationally televised game. 2 games later, Ryan Aplin will be winging it all over Apogee. All 3 of those games (especially the two conf. home games) are games we can win. We need our best players out there.

For sure. Once healthy, if Warner is just going to be used in dime packages or special teams, then we may as well redshirt him. Unless he just really wants to play...

I bet if you asked him, he'd be on board. Just like D. Thompson was not upset about playing for less than 1/2 of 1 game to burn his redshirt. These guys want to win way more than any of us want them to win. Regardless of how many games he plays, if Warner thinks he can help, and he's cleared to play, I bet he would like to get out there. I may be wrong, but I doubt it.

Win any/every game you can. If Warner can help win 1 game, play him.

You guys are straight ignorant. Even if you didn't recognize his name immediately after the news broke, if you bothered to look him up, you would have seen what kind of recruit he was. My only concern was that he would change his mind and go to Europe to get paid before making his jump to the NBA. Otherwise, UNT basketball was immediately going to another level... (little did I know that our 2nd & 4th best players would later become ineligible). This year, barring injury, or another grades setback, the University of North Texas Basketball team is poised to have it's greatest season EVER. I'm looking forward to UNT posting a 25-27 win season and locking up that first top 25 ranking in team history... All this, thanks to the greatest recruit to set foot on campus, Mr. Tony Mitchell.

The problem with Texas Tech is that they are located in Lubbuttocks, TX. They will ride the coat-tails of UT forever, and if that tie is ever severed, they will fall into mediocrity at-best because they won't be able to pull the 4 star guys out of populated areas in Texas anymore. Recruiting will consist of Llano Estacado and Abilene. I like Tuberville, but I hope he fails out there.

Doesn't the soccer team do something like this yearly? Call it a "scrimmage", although I'm sure it would get pretty competitive... Maybe have a 3pt competition between Chris Davis, Leonard Hopkins, Calvin Watson, Josh White, Adam McCoy, Brandon Walton, and Mr. 50% himself: T-Mitch.

2010-11 VS 2011-12. Do it. I'd be interested to see if Odufuwa could even halfway corral T-Mitch. I still think TT would be the top scorer on the floor, unless Josh were to have one of his crazy 30+pt nights. Zo, Hogans, & Holmen can chose which team they want to be on, but since Alzee was out 2010-11, he'd have to suit up with last year's squad. Or, imagine 2000 - 2010 all stars VS this year's team? For real, I'd pay more money to see this than I would for any other game on the schedule (unless coach Benford can get Kentucky/Duke to the pit or something).

If anyone values their wallet or cell phone over their child, they have other issues. It's sad that our police/fire force have to issue these kinds of tips.

I don't see why we can't just put the old fouts field bleachers on top of those concrete pillars. I'm just throwing another idea out there for attempting to re-use the bleachers that permeate this board.
