I'll be there with my 3 year old daughter in her Mean Green cheerleading outfit. My wife and our 9 month old will not be making this one. I'm leaving work in Plano at around 4pm, so hopefully I'll be there for an hour of Beerman. For anyone who's not aware, Beerman IS playing from 4-6pm, and Budweiser IS giving out free beer for the same amount of time. For anyone who likes free beer and country music or just one of the above, you should stop by. I'll be giving my 2 extra tickets to 3 of my Fraternity Brothers to divide among themselves.

Major - History Job - Estate/Trust Planning Consultant I guess they are kind of related. I studied dead people, and now I help people get their stuff together to deal with death........might be a stretch.

Someone said that you could go ahead and make donations for the stadium fund, you just had to mark them as such. Is there any way to find out if there's any money in there? And if so how much? I'm sure it wouldn't be too much, but I'd be interested to know anyway.

I think it's a great idea. My wife and I are always trying to think of ways to smuggle them into the stadium (usually we use the diaper bag). It would be so much more fun to make a tradition of buying the green ones before kick off. My 3 yr old daughter loves getting to throw them......that keeps her entertained half the night which allows me to watch more of the game.

When is the next Flag Football game? Maybe we should have another one and try to raise money for the program? Hopefully I'd be able to play this time.

I think you probably keep running to get your team some more experience doing what they'll need to do in conference.

My suggestion is get there earlier. jk My family and I got there around 3:30, sat in the same line, and then had to end up parking behind Clark. Really wan't that bad of a walk, but we had a bunch of stuff that we didn't take because it would have been to much hassle. We've decided that next time we'll try getting there 3 or 4 hours early (after the Tulsa game - parking may not be a problem). I think it's a great problem to have, though it did keep me from drinking for an extra 30 minutes.

What about the freshman running back Robertson? (#22 I think) Does anyone know if he was redshirted?

Attendance for Troy will be low because it's a Tuesday night game. We don't have the fan base yet to pull in a big crowd on a week night...even if we had beat Tulsa. I think the crowds will keep coming because of how much fun the pregame is. The more people that discover that, the bigger our attendance will become.

When my daughter was born 3 Septembers ago, we were faced with the same decision around Homecoming since she was only about 2 or 3 months old. We ended up bringing her. Really it doesn't change a whole lot, it's just like carrying a football around all day that you can't throw (according to my wife). You'll be fine, and we can always use the attendance. I make sure the ticket takers count both of my baby girls.

I love that they refer to us as "The Evil Empire". We should bring back the Star Wars movie music.

Do we know if there will be any recruits there this Saturday?

i was thinking it might have something to do with Meager being a Freshman, and Cobbs was essentially a coach last year, so he'd be a great person to have out there to calm everyone down and keep the QB focused.
