Is there any way we can set up a fan bus for the smu win ? Many of us need the ride there and back. Money no problem.

Conner Means is a quality QB on the rise and will be a future starter for UNT, but this upcoming season will go to McNulty or Smith. That's where all of the real time snaps will be spread. By the way, in response to an earlier post, I did see significant improvement in Derek Thompson in his senior year specifically in his "composure" when he had the ball right after the snap. He stopped rushing the plays. This was an important change.

All the odds were against him as an athlete but he " shook up the world". WHY NOT UNT ?!!!

smu is a little PUSSY (sorry I meant pony) school that UNT needs to beat and leave behind, just like last year's drubbing of the little pus... I mean pony. They are no rival, just an irritation like mosquitoes.

Damn ! You people are depressing the hell out of me and my family season ticket holders. UNT has a bunch of kids with grit , desire and an Irish mick head coach who loathes losing. Harry is RIGHT ! When does our Board of Regents (BOR) give this program the support and leadership we all hope for ? I buy season tickets for my family because I am an alum, but I know other brother grads in business who don't just because they don't think the University leadership doesn't back football or football. It's true, UNT should be the leading D-1 team in north Texas. Make calls people, don't just drink beer.

Bottom line for this whole discussion, Mac, UNT, needs a winning season.

Barnes and Nobles needs to do a MUCH BETTER job of attracting UNT customers (hint: fans) The Apogee store really is a neat place but needs some marketing upgrade. UNT needs to push, it's bs to say the athletic department doesn't have any say. With that attitude UNT will be a doormat, not what you want ? Me neither. UNT is a great university, seems like administration people are asleep at the wheel. Not me, our athletes, students and whole north Texas region deserve more. I make contacts in Austin and locally, how about you. Don't be sheepish.

Harry, do we not feed these boys enough ? When I joined the Army for Nam they fed us like gladiators. Walmart , hmm, Mac needs to set some off limits, or feed them a lot more. Can we fans help out ? I'd buy lots of hot dogs and stuff for the boys.

Definately going to be a QB issue this year. I think the staff have improved the defense. If little Mac does well against smu then having a hot ticket like Damarcus Smith gets complicated. I'll be there .

The 7% alumni support has got to improve. I live in Denton and have purchased two season tickets for years plus donation. Maybe the out of town alums just don't feel connected. I agree with "mean green eagle " BUT... Rick V needs to open his eyes and see that he needs help, we all do. It makes us better. As a CEO I have been through it.

The spring game could be a dynamite event, where is Rick V. on this ? So far it's flat. This is not a trick question.

I love UNT football, have for years. But who ever is setting the spring game at Apogee is asleep at the wheel. The game is an opportunity for fans to see their players and coaches on the field an to rejuvinate interest for the upcoming season.. So, as a long time jocks and socks fan I think UNT needs to make the spring game more fun by having fire worksp . Cheer leadears handing out t-shirts, and a real band playing music.Basically for non jocks and socks fans the event is a bore. Wake up UNT, attract people. Someone is lazy.

I agree, when I was a freshman I met Hayden Fry walking on campus and he convinced me that UNT would win, it did...I am still a season ticket holder.
