It would be nice, but don't see it happening. Weak perception of CUSA, weak perception of this program as a whole based on recent history and 3 losses (2 of them horrific) to non ranked teams makes for an uphill climb even if we win out.

Michigan is Jordan Brand (Nike) Wren just went all in with Nike, migrating all programs. I personally prefer Nike, and I don't think things would be any different with another brand. It seems like here the design of merchandise is based on who sells it. Hence why the same base Nike shirt can have any one of 4 variations of the same logo depending on where you get it.

Shouldn't be that hard. It's sports merchandising 101, a lot people are willing to spend good money on sideline gear. Pro sports and most colleges have figured it out. If the person in charge of this stuff up there doesn't get it, then maybe they should be sent on their way, because like the poster above said, the stuff in the store this season is crap. Anybody see the sharp black Nike polo that SL has been wearing in recent weeks? Didn't think so. It would have been nice to have for the ODU blackout game. Mini helmets? Nope. People are drooling over all these new helmets, I'd buy a mini of each helmet right this moment. For those who are detail oriented such as myself, the one green Nike polo that looks like the one the coaches wear isn't even the same thing. The one in the store has a black outline on the SOW while the one that the coaches have doesn't. Tired of all the excuses as to why our merchandise situation is the way it is, tired of hearing about licensing, Barnes and Noble, whatever. Just give the people a product worth buying. It shouldn't have to take a damn letter writing campaign. Luckily for me, my bank account looks much better with no sideline gear or mini helmets available for purchase.

It's problematic that we have to depend on the offense to put up 40 points for a chance to win. Reffett and Biagi must go.

Bingo. Is more than just the culture at UNT. It's the DFW sports culture as a whole. Most of our students are DFW locals. Bandwagoning is ingrained from birth here. That's why I keep saying that we have to have sustained 9-10+ win seasons with wins over top 25 teams to turn attendance around. Until then, we will have attendance woes like the Stars, Mavs and Rangers do now. There's no sense bitching about attendance until that happens. The DFW market expects a lot out of their sports teams, it's just the way it is.

Have to fire Reffett. Giving up 804 yards to FAU is a fireable offense. It’s not just this one game. The defense has been bad all season. You can’t rely on the offense to play lights out all season. The defense has to step it up and win a game themselves a time or two.

Not quite. I’d be willing to spend my $ on the shirt SL has, the one in the store looks like a cheap reproduction. I wish the AD would get together with Barnes and Noble on merchandise so we can get the same stuff players and coaches have, like most other schools, professional leagues, etc. It’s a missed opportunity.

It will be interesting to see how this team comes off the bye week. Mac's 2013 team lost both games that came after a bye. That team would have made the conference championship game if it wasn't for poor performances vs Tulane and UTSA.
