I have had T-shirt fans of other schools, including NT graduates, ask me why I don't support "bigger" programs instead of NT. I always point out that not only am I a graduate and support my school but we are one of only a handful of schools that have never been placed on NCAA probation for any sport. At that point they usually admit they were unaware of that fact and then usually change the subject.

1. I found the MTSU chant entertaining. I could have cared less about their feelings. 2. "Dickey did not put a lot of emphasis on that game." Really, he played an injured QB with a knee brace risking further injury for a meaningless game? 3. We were a 5 win conference co-champion in a 7 team startup league with a few teams that had just moved up (didn't' the SBC, that created the Bowl, have to get some kind of exemption for that alone?). The difference is not that substantial.

He did call you Coach, right? Your disagreement with Flanagans coaching is well known. We were in fact Conference Co Champions with an 8-3 Middle Tennessee team that beat an SEC team, destroyed Troy, lost to LSU and Mississippi, and did not go to a bowl. We went to the bowl on a head to head victory. We could in fact have declined and let them in. I saw several MTSU fans who had already booked New Orleans trip and they would chant "MTSU we got screwed we got screwed."

I second that. Great beer selection and pretty good turnout of fans.

I was also on the bus. The Casino stop on the way paid for my trip. We ended that season with a loss to a Troy team that was in transition to FBS. The bowl trip was great fun and I think the extra practice time, even though we lost the bowl, ultimately paid off in my opinion.

Aren't you the same guy that showed up in New Orleans, for a 5-7 team that lost the bowl, all pimped out in a fuzzy lime green jacket etc. For half of that season you were calling for Dickie to be fired even with your good buddy Ramon Flanigan as OC. The best thing that has come out of this thread is the return of El Guapo. Take the offer if it comes.

I can't post what I think about the game. This matter can be addressed with results a lot quicker. Professionalism matters even in small things.

A game program with last year's roster is totally unacceptable. Someone should be held accountable big time! Hire an alum who has some pride and cares. At a minimum start an alum oversight committee and run everything thru it. To much of this has happened for years. Andrew with spell check would do a better job!

Sonny Dykes more likely for Tech. Also La Tech coach is more attractive for openings at this point.
