I'm surprised that no one has commented on the uniforms that the Mean green wore Saturday night. I haven't seen them wear the white pants for a home game in several years. Personally, I like the traditional look of green jerseys/white paints rather than the all-green unis. I know, it doesn't matter as long as we win.

Classy guy, eh. He's up on NT by 20 touchdowns, gets down to NT's 25 or so yard line on a 4th and 2, and rather than give his FG kicker a stab at a field goal for practice, he runs it down our throats for a 1st down with that 6-3, 500# beast of a fullback, eventually scoring on us a few playes later. To me, Mack Brown is not a classy guy at all.

Amen. Least we forget all of the OOC games NT has lost under Dickey. This win over SMU does not absolve DD from anything. Surely you won't be happy to beat SMU and then get schooled by Tulsa (again) and by Akron?

I'm not taking up for SMU or Coach Bennett, but exactly how does a staff prepare a team (SMU) to take on NT, who the week before were outplayed, outclassed, outscored the week before? I mean, with the exception of one scoring drive, nothing stood out against Texas. NT won last night. Good crowd, good college football atmosphere, and not riots. I just hope SMU keeps an open mind in scheduling NT more often and not use this loss as a means of killing future games. Both schools need attendance and a local rivalty game. Tcu need to be in the mix too.
