Temple- 40 UNT- 38 Temple shredded UTSA's defense. I don't think we fare any better. We have the lead in the 4th quarter, but Temple scores a last minute TD to win.

The defense showed a bunch of different looks and held Navy to 27 points which is better than you and most others were expecting. Is it that hard for you to admit they did enough for us to win? This loss is on the offense. Not being able to score from inside the one, Cleveland dropping an easy TD catch, and the 2 turnovers hurt us way more than the defense’s performance.

They certainly did enough to win yesterday. Forced Navy to punt on 3 of their first 4 possessions but our offense only mustered 3 points on our first 4 drives. You could argue the game was lost right there. The Defense even had a massive stop to give our Offense a chance to win the game. And how did the Offense respond? By going 4 and out in probably their worst series of the year...SMH

Rogers did not handle the blitz well. Navy was telegraphing the blitz and Rogers never seemed to recognize it and hit a hot route.

Its wild that we don't have a key card system in place to get past the main lobby. It should be damn near impossible for non-UNT personnel to get beyond that point without an escort.

Navy- 41 UNT- 31 They'll be able to put together long scoring drives keeping our offense off the field. Rogers and Co. will have a great day, but a few Navy stops will put us behind. Our defense struggles to even slow Navy down.

We lost 4 of our top 6 or 7 defenders from last year (KD, Nixon, Gaddie, Robertson) A defense that was also really bad. To suggest we didn’t lose much is misleading. I agree the coaches failed to hit the portal enough on defense. But at this point it is what it is. Morris and Caponi are trying different looks to find something that works, but that’s not going to happen after a few weeks. Especially, after working on installing the 3-3-5 since the Spring.

There is no magical change Morris can do that will make this defense solid. Firing Caponi isn’t going to help the defense start playing better. Morris brought Caponi here to run the 3-3-5. He’s not going to fire him until he has the personal to properly run the defense. They’re obviously trying different looks to switch things up. We’ve run way more 4 man fronts the last 2 games, but still getting gashed. We just don’t have enough FBS caliber players on defense. No defensive scheme is going to change that. Ranting that heads should already be rolling after a few games is just typical illogical fan behavior.

Any idea how our white jerseys were ruined so quickly? Each set comes with multiple replacements. And I wonder when we placed this order with Nike. We would have known a new set was needed last December. I can’t imagine any kind raw material shortage holding up an order that was placed at least 6-8 months in advance.

So did someone in the AD massively screw up or is Nike just treating us like a second rate school? It’s inexcusable to not have white/road unis to start the year let alone half the season…

Memphis is homecoming so I highly doubt they’ll go all black. I expect we’ll see those strutting eagle helmets on homecoming.

My guess is we go with the traditional Green helmet, Green jersey, and White pants

Looks like ACU isn't very good. We dominate from the jump, but our defense will have a couple of breakdowns that lead to easy ACU scores. North Texas: 48 ACU: 20
