Taking school provided bus down to Texas stadium for a football game. Can not remember much about the trip, but I remember having a blast. Spring break trip to padre. Then, of course, graduation. Listening live to the now famous "do you believe in the mean green!" radio call by the great Georgio!

If he earns it, then so be it. I don't care who wins it as long as the one who earns it in practice translates it into success on the game day playing field. We are all thinking bb will win the job, but if mcnulty out works him and earns it, the so be it. He brings his lunch pail every workout. That is the point of competition.... Back to the issue at hand, mr Antoine, are we sure this kid doesn't need to be a rb or Wr? This is quite a highlight video. I am no scout, and my 5 year old woke me up about 30 minutes ago....having trouble going back to sleep... so I may be a bit loopy, but this kid needs the ball in his hands.... If he is a db, we should be treated to some exhilarating pick 6's. No question he should be in the mix to return punts and knockoffs. I would say this kid fits the description of athlete that can make plays in space.

Yes, at this point, we are all so mad that whatever any coach or administration member says, we won't want to hear it. Just win. We don't need to be reminded of our current standing in the NCAA pecking order or told how much awesomer it will be when x and y happen....

I hope the tide rolls, and I think they will. I have never understood the national infatuation with one of the random catholic schools in Indiana. Because they won in leather melmuts and have a network in their hip pocket? Meh. As tough as it is to see yet another SEC champion crowned, I would rather see that. Good news is bama appears to be the better team. Guess we will see tonight.

Mr walker, good luck on your difficult decision. Just know that I am personally praying to baby Santa-Mac-jeebus that he brings a large an tenacious dt or 2 into the mean green family. I don't think any ou alum is willing to do that for you to go there. They would take you for granted and not appreciate you fully the way that I and the rest if the mean greeners would.

Very level headed post. Agreed. Potential and work ethic at deep positions is what we are looking for. Development is what Mac and staff must succeed for UNT to win long term. I would say dt(of course) is the remaining "immediate need", even though we don't know what we have in our redshirts. If nothing else, immediate need for some depth is there even if the redshirt dt's are all awesome, which I have prayed for to baby Santa-jeebus everyday forever. We shall see what we have after the redshirts and upperclassmen make it through offseason workouts, spring football, summer workouts, and fall camp. Anyways, thank you(again) for your commitment sed ellis. I look forward to you working your ass off under Santa-jeebus-Mac and hearing me yell at the top of my lung as you get yet another game winning sack fumble or tackle for loss cause Mac showed you the way.

I'd vote for maybe one or two of the sunbelt tourney wins for the men's bball team or the jimmy show jail bait screen play to beat the cajuns. after that, lots of sports crying in my sports beer.

Mr Jackson had maybe the second best highlight play of the year behind the "jailbait" screen by the jimmy show to beat the Cajuns. That hit on the lsu qb wasn't a remarkable play by hilbert, but he made the play. Maybe he disguised the corner blitz well... I don't know. It was maybe the biggest off the couch moment for me, with apologies to tons of plays in the ksu game.

I think I liked the last set of uni's on the website more as well. I am a big fan of the crazy Oregon uni's in general. I don't think we will be making that kind of change though. Rv and Mac are both on record as saying we won't be changing anytime soon...outside the retro uni's we are apparently rolling out for the opener.

This is a huge bummer. DT's don't grow on trees. This one would have helped BIGTIME. He wouldn't solve everything, but man he would be a pretty big step in the right direction for recruiting. Good luck to him, but man would we ever love to have you in mean green.

I thought we would go 7 and 5, and lose a bowl game for 2012. I thought going into the season we would take another step forward. Instead, we took a half step back. We will see for 2013. I think 2013 will be better, but obviously I will likely think that every year.

I know most programs have to deal with stuff like this every year... Still seems shocking that kids with scholarships to play ball don't realize they have more to lose than other kids at that same age. Who knows what the real story is. I hope for their sakes(and mine as a small small contributor to their scholarship money) they can learn from this and be better people going forward.

Ok, this sux. I kind of wrote off Warner. But, I, personally, was counting on the jimmy show to be a major contributor. Hmmmmmmm. Let's see how Mac handles this one. I might look the other way with good players. Maybe I am just desperate for UNT success.
