  1. 3 But my interest in the entire college football season is around a 2.5 I’m sure it will pick up around the end of July. Or maybe not. but following the first lawsuit or player that gets fired or traded is like a 3.5
  2. Yep, and then when he left, we made our coaching hires and they made theirs....
  3. Jimbo is one of the biggest frauds in College Football, but he's 100% correct in that statement
  4. Why don't the G5s work together and say "we're not paying....we didn't create this mess" and force the Power conferences to sue....P5s, state your case and convince a jury or the public you have a legitimate complaint. You don't.
  5. Army? Here’s a reason from this latest article: “North Texas had a host of issues to address following a 5-7 season in Eric Morris' debut campaign as the Mean Green's coach. Improving against the run was among the biggest. UNT ranked last nationally in rushing defense with an average of 255.2 yards allowed per game and gave up more rushing touchdowns than any other team in the country at 37.” https://dentonrc.com/rush-to-defense/article_d2743e45-5063-5360-a8e7-cca7a8dbdd9a.html?utm_source=dentonrc.com&utm_campaign=%2Fnewsletters%2Flists%2Fmean-green%2F%3F-dc%3D1715792412&utm_medium=email&utm_content=headline Seems like stopping Army would be a challenge for the worst rushing defense in the country
  6. wondered that too... or show up for 30 minutes and sign a few autographs. "Hey 5 star recruit, One of the guys in this collective owns a car dealership or real estate office or -insert business here-"....show up tomorrow afternoon from 2:00 to 2:30 pm for autographs and here's a $1 million and a car. NIL requirement met.
  7. Pretty sure it was Jason Mills. Matt Simon's last season
  8. Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, Northwestern, Purdue, West Virginia, Rutgers, Iowa State, Syracuse, Wake Forest, Boston College, and Cal SMU is below those schools....so if they're not included (they won't be....there's a huge difference between Ohio St, Texas, Bama and those schools) then SMU for sure won't be.
  9. SMU.....y'all better come get your boy....he's talking logic. No place for that.... “Would you rather get beat 48-7 to Georgia in the first round or play for a championship?” Lashlee said. “Some say it makes it FCS football, but FCS football thrives for what it is. What saves G5 football is competition.” “I think fans would’ve loved it if Liberty, SMU, Troy and Boise State were in a four-team playoff last year,” Lashlee said. “Kids will still transfer up or down by at least each school is competing for something.”
  10. Eventually, one of those four teams will be in the top group. The other three will be down with SMU and UNT
  11. THE SPHERE IS 30-ISH SCHOOLS!!! The debate is should we continue with this charade or be proactive and put something together that could benefit the rest of the left overs. I happen to think a regional direction for the rest of us will be good...both in eyeballs and costs. Especially compared to what we have now. For crying out loud, Cal is going to North Carolina for conference games. That's dumb.
