  1. Wish I lived closer so I could attend the scrimmage tomorrow. We could ask everyone to bring aquaballs for Silver's granddaughter.
  2. Sorry to hear about your granddaughters cancer and difficult chemo treatments. Prayers for her recovery.
  3. I would like to see more video of him throwing the ball.
  4. Neither have accomplished anything at Tulane.

  6. I think the players respected McNulty, and rightfully so, because he was the ultimate team player, worked hard and had leadership qualities. Unfortunately, he didn't have the physical skills to succeed.
  7. I will kindly disagree. I think Mac's quote was nothing but coach speak. Goree's, on the other hand, is from a teammate and is much more apt to be the truth than a bunch of "coach speak."
  8. That never results in Southlake or Aledo players being ruled ineligible.
  9. I wish the young man well and hope his days of making poor decisions are behind him.
  10. Combes is my defensive sleeper. On offense I am going to go with Silver's pick, Daniel Khan. There always seems to be a slot receiver that ends up putting up big numbers in this type of offensive system.
  11. My greatest expense is gas for the 10 hour round trip. This year I will save wear and tear on the vehicle. I will be there for the SMU game and Homecoming for sure. The other games will just depend.
  12. I agree. I look at people like Connor Trussell or Garrett Gunter that are seniors and have never really sniffed the two deep on OL. Why not try these young men at DL/DT?
  13. You just can't keep from dragging other fans in to your hourly diatribes. He stated facts, admit it.

  15. B.S. I will always follow UNT and never, ever A$M, SMU, or any other college except maybe Arkansas since my dad played there his freshman year. RV is not bigger than the program and will not keep me from following my school, but what he has done is create an environment that I no longer want to give my hard earned dollars to until he is gone. I will listen on the radio, come to at least homecoming, etc... but I will not renew my season tickets or MGC donation until we have a new AD. I hate doing this, but it has come to this. I don't really care if spring practices are closed to outside viewers, but this has all the signs of an RV decision especially when it says VIP's will be allow in to watch. RV should follow the Tech model for spring practice. They have one of their Saturday scrimmages in Midland every year to please the alumni in the Permian Basin and it is a big deal. They've created an all day event with tailgating, meet the players, meet the staff, etc... This is what should be occurring in Denton, but it won't under RV's watch because this is not capable of happening under his watch. I fully support Littrell, Harrell and all the new coaches on staff, but will not be fully involved like I have in the past until a new AD is in place.
  16. Another reason I do not understand why he is even given a shot at QB and Dillman is not. They should be reversed with Dillman getting the shot and Chumley learning a new position.
  17. Julius Combes You have to love the crack staff running the meangreensports.com website. In the pictures from yesterday's practice they have a picture of our returning leading rusher, RB Jeremy Wilson. Great job guys and great job Mr./Mrs. Editor.
  18. That piece of crap DRC website's comment function never worked and now it is disabled. Guess they don't want to see the feedback this fluff article would generate, or @Brett Vito doesn't want to write an article stating the obvious, that revenue sports have done horrible under RV's watch. Wish @Brett Vito would nut up and write an article illustrating the B.S. RV feeds us all at every turn, but I don't see that happening. I would love to have him sit down with RV and ask him the tough questions. Again, he won't do it because his access to the teams would be eliminated and RV doesn't have the sack to sit down for these types of questions.
  19. Did he transfer to Cedar Hill? Those highlights are not Cedar Hill. Impressive video.
  20. Based upon 6 home games: $2,000 would be a good ballpark figure. I will be saving quite a bit this year.
  21. Just a point of information. I am not sure how other NCAA programs handle spring practice accessibility, but when I worked in Dallas at the facility where the Maverick's practiced, all practices were closed to the media until 10 minutes were left. This was a league rule to minimize distractions. I honestly don't think it is that big of a deal, but the comment about certain boosters and VIP's leaves a bad taste in one's mouth. The timing of this makes it come across as RV closing ranks. Does anyone working in PR at UNT know anything about PR?
  22. I could not agree more. The constant high jacking is a whipping. I understand, as Army of Dad stated, that the issues bleed all throughout the department under RV's lack of direction, but I would appreciate efforts to keep the RV bashing to the RV bashing threads.
  23. The headline tells me all I need to know about how our esteemed Chancellor feels about our university. Time to show him the door.
