  1. Thanks. I could not remember his name. The Google tutorial was helpful.
  2. Careful, his Daddy is reading these posts.
  3. True, but he has always been a player on the edge of disaster.
  4. I fully agree with both of these statements. I bought a bottle of Buffalo Trace a couple of years ago and finally gave it away. Just didn't suit my taste, but glad other's enjoy it. My grandfather drank Evan Williams, so that is my go to "inexpensive" pick. I do like Maker's and Maker's 46 and am a huge fan of Woodford's Reserve. I found a bottle of Pappy on eBay for $200. It was an empty bottle! Some day I will have one.
  5. I don't think I would claim ownership of this tool. He could have easily cost the Broncos the game. Should have been shown the bench.
  6. You love you some me, don't you. Oh, and your response is idiotic at best and doesn't address anything I said.
  7. It is amazing to me that this fanbase will always find something to bitch about. People complained when it was 7pm it ended too late, now when it is moved earlier people complain about not being able to get there on time. Unfortunately, you can't please everyone, so you pick a time where you think most will attend. Someone always gets left out. Sounds like, based on attendance, that this was a time where more could attend.
  8. It all some on this board know.
  9. Have a Snickers Betty White....feel better? You've evolved in to a total beat down ?
  10. Please, please, please find me another Laramie Lee!
  11. I also noticed Julius Combes missing from the review. He was a redshirt in 2015, so he still has four years. I don't know why, but I have felt that he could be a sleeper for us. Any thoughts on him @BillySee58 ?
  12. What are his other options? I think everyone on here reached out and explained the sarcasm behind the earlier posts regarding Tyrone. I think some posters even sent you personal messages further trying to explain what was going on. I think we have all be more than happy to have Tyrone as our first commit in this class, and if you can't understand that then so be it. By the way, what is your beef with North Texas? Have you ever set foot on campus? Have you ever been in Denton? Congratulations on Stanford. Not sure if I am a fan of the Dream Act letting people in to schools when more qualified candidates get passed over, but that is what our country has become.
  13. Texas/OU is October 8th, same day that we host the Thundering Turd. Homecoming is on the road this year. At Army.
  14. Does/Can the school provide a list? I would be curious to see who all accepted the PWO offer from us this year. Pirtle Mann Watson Gerth Any others?
  15. Tanner Schafer was 292 of 377 for a 75% completion percentage, threw for 4,053 yards with 49 TD's and 2 Int's his senior year alone. Fine was 251 of 384 for a 65% completion percentage, threw for 4,227 yards with 53 TD's and 7 Int's his senior year. Those stats tell me these young men were not throwing the ball in the ground 5 yards past the line of scrimmage.
  16. I thought Tulsa might have the advantage with some of these kids from smaller communities. UNT is a huge campus. It never felt that way to me, but I grew up in Denton, so I always thought all colleges were like that. Players like Johnson just might feel more comfortable in a smaller university setting.
  17. Maybe it is the fact that his choice of headgear is illegal and we (UNT) didn't want to take on the threat of a concussion or two. Just a thought.
  18. I think we were in on Fine prior to O, but yes, these are essentially one in the same, but I love Shafer's size. Let's face it, we are going to have a tough time recruiting the same QB's that OU is offering scholarships to, so we look at players that are considered a rung below. There is a risk where they could flop at the college game, but there is the chance that they could excel. No different than the 4 or 5 star player that doesn't live up to his billing. Taking our QB situation in to consideration, I think we should be looking everywhere. Morris and Smith are seniors, Means is unproven, the other returning players are all walk-ons and Fine is a freshman. Let's turn over every rock, boulder and pebble and build some good depth here.
