1. We have tried a game at the Cotton Bowl before during the fair. Unless it is UT/OU, it is a failure. 2. 2 for 1 deals lead to 5 game home schedules in the future. 3. Playing a P5 school once a year is what our AD has said he would do. This gives our players a chance against those schools, if our coach has any balls, and helps pay the bills like every other G5 does. 4. A couple of years ago, these same posters that are on her praising this deal Rice gave UT threw a fit if our AD considered this same type of deal. 5. We have a home field. It is called Apogee. Paying to play at AT&T and then losing concession and parking revenue would led to the need to schedule another P5 in the future to offset the lost revenue. 6. Why does Rice have to go and pay for NRG when they have cavernous Rice stadium? Good for Rice, if that is what they want. No thank yoju from this end.

I would hope his completion percentage has improved if our offer still stands. Was a sub 50% completion percentage a requirement of Mac/Chico?

It was mentioned in another thread that Middleton was trying to graduate early and sign with us, but he wasn't able to make that happen. I wonder if the offer still stands from Littrell and staff since this was a Mac offer? Could he be the one we are saving that scholarship for should he take care of everything this spring?

And this is why I would use our season opening game against SMU to celebrate the true breaking of the color barrier/ This would be the 60th Anniversary season and a great way to get the word out while indirectly shutting down SMU's version with Levias. That always drove me crazy.

If memory serves me correctly, I seem to recall that UTA opened that stadium and then dropped football like two years later. Well, upon looking it all up, the stadium opened in 79' and they dropped football after the 85' season.

All things considered, what strikes me as odd is that when you roll out your reasons for putting on your turd colored glasses each day, those are facts.
