  1. We had the ball 3 times as long as the ponies. We more than doubled their yards offensively. And held them to 4 yards rushing.
  2. ESPN has him listed with UNT http://www.espn.com/college-football/player/stats/_/id/4044088/nate-hopkins Career stats 92 Attempts 343 Yards 7 TD
  3. From your keyboard to Trump's Tweet!
  4. It has been fixed, give them credit it used to take a few weeks not a few minutes to post news to the site. This was bad though...
  5. If you do not find one you can now purchase them through the ticket office for $10-$30. https://ev7.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/SEGetEventList?groupCode=PK&linkID=unt-athletics&shopperContext=&caller=appList&appCode=
  6. Groundbreaking for the IPF is on the 29th as well. More details coming soon.
  7. Quotes from Wren "If we finish out this week as well as we have sold the last few weeks we have a good chance for a sell out" "If you are a fan do not mess around, get your tickets"
  8. 1968 Throwback uniforms as well for that game.
  9. Saw this tweet last night, how awesome is this! Working to fill Apogee. We should e-mail and call Jim McNatt and thank him!.. North Texas Athletics Hall of Fame Jim McNatt earned his degree in general business administration from UNT in 1966 and was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. He is on the President’s Leadership Board, is a member of the Kuehne Speaker Series steering committee and the McConnell Society, previously served on the UNT Foundation board. and has made philanthropic contributions in autism and the National Merit Scholarship program.McNatt’s contributions to the athletic department will be seen throughout the Mean Green Village, as his generosity will help fund a new theatre-style auditorium for football, expansion of the football coaches’ offices, and major renovations at the soccer and softball complexes as well as the student-athlete academic center.
  10. Manase Mose playing next to his brother is instant chemistry and will solidify the line on the right side.
  11. NT 45 - SMU 42 - One defensive stand late is the difference. NT 28 - IW 13 - Our starters will not even see a half of football so the score will be closer than anyone expects but it will not be close. NT 28 - ARK 27 - A late turnover will make the diffrence NT 38 - LU 10 - Game will be in hand by the end of the half and LU will score in the 4th quarter LaTech 42 - NT 38 - we come out flat as a horny toad on the highway (we will come back after a flat 1st half and make it a game but come up short). NT 50 - Utep 14 - No let down and a safety in the kicking game. NT 35 - SoMiss 32 - #Hit6 in a nail biter. Defense wins the game on the last drive UAB 42 - NT 35 - Slow start kills us - Fine gets a stinger in his throwing arm and is benched in the second half as a precaution and the game slips away. NT - 63 - Rice 14 - 7 TD passes by Fine 2 TD by the defense - the shoulder is fine and Fine is still pissed about not playing in the 4th quarter against UAB NT - 35 - ODU 7 - again our starters do not see the second half. NT 56 - FAU 35 - They will be on their 3rd qb and struggling we pull away in the 3rd quarter. UTSA 49 - NT - 45 - I hate UTSA and this will suck as those roadkill bastards eliminate us from the C-USA Championship game again! Late dive play up the middle catches us in a blitz 60+ yards. NT 35 - Iowa/NW 28 to win the Servpro First Responder Bowl on December 26th in the Cotton Bowl - We will beat Iowa (Northwestern if Iowa falls apart) on the last play of the game in what will become known as The Drive 2.0! 10-3 for the season we will not be ranked in the top 25 but will receive votes. ***** Bonus ****** SL will be offered 2 P5 HC positions but declines. He ill be rumored for several Kansas, Illinois, and Texas Tech. However he turns down NC as Fedora can not get the offense running after a certain OC left a few years ago. The second he shoots down at the rumor stage is Colorado as MacIntyre's world collapses around him and is out by Thanksgiving, SL's name will resurface again right before the bowl (as he takes a family trip to Colorado for Thanksgiving that is made public in mid Dec by the Iowa booster that rented him his VRBO) only to decline Colorado a second time right before the bowl game inspiring The Drive 2.0! He comes back for 2019 with a stacked offense and ends up in the top 25 with a 1 loss season. SL strongly considers leaving after the 2019 season when Orgeron is fired at LSU, but UNT realizing an increase in enrollment, success in all sports, and a spike in donations to all departments decides to up the salary to keep SL. My crystal ball gets fuzzy as to whether or not he takes the job but the mist in the ball has some purple and yellow as well as the normal green and white. There is something about a million dollars in there as well, I hope that is the raise and not the diffrence in the offers...
  12. If you have good internet service at your home drop Directv and go with Directv now, you can add HBO for $5 a month opens up a lot of options. I had it for 3 months and liked everything but the DVR which capped out at 20 hours and missed recording some shows. Drove me to YouTube TV which I really like. (unlimited DVR, 6 individual users)
  13. Quick point of clarity. for chromecast to work you will need a wifi connection - I use either wifi or a hotspot connection. (some people have been able to set up an internet free wifi network and get them to work, I have had no luck in doing so) Your fix of a HDMI from your phone should work but I would test it before lugging everything out to Apogee. Also if you go the hotspot route the "sponsored data" on att may not work and you could be charged data, for some it does charge and others it doesn't.
  14. If you have the directv app you should be able to use a chromecast type setup . Plug it in to the tv and link to your phone. With AT&T Dircetv will not cost you data so stream away. (just as a side, some channels will not let you cast certain shows) I personally have YoutubeTV and I cast games via my phone and a chromecast all the time. (When I am at events where I can not be at a game) Last year I was at a industry event and put the world series game on one of our TV's and we were the most popular kids at the party!
  15. Put me down for 10-3. Losses to LaTech UAB and UtSA. Bowl win against a depleted Iowa team. I honestly am shocked that I have us with more than 8 wins because in my head we will come back down to earth abit this year. But as I run through the games here is how i see it playing out. We will be 4-0 entering conference play while coming off of a defining win over Arkansas and a closer than expected game against Liberty (we will pull away in the 2nd half) we come out flat against LaTech and lose a close one (we will come back after a flat 1st half and make it a game but come up short). We will bounce back and thump Utep and win a close one against SoMiss to become bowl eligible. We will be flat again and lose to UAB. Rice and ODU will be solid wins. We will beat FAU as the card house collapses around their new QB. The hard to swallow loss will be UTSA to end the regular season thus eliminating us from the CUSA championship game by the tie breaker. (LaTech will lose to Marshall big) We will end up plaing Iowa (Northwestern if Iowa falls apart) in the Servpro First Responder Bowl on December 26th in the Cotton Bowl winning the game on the last drive with no time on the clock (the Drive 2.0). Caveat: If Fine goes down we will be 6-6 playing in the Bahamas against Miami (no not the U but the one from Ohio) in front of 8,000 fans mostly from the Bahamas.
  16. After we win before the other team gets off the field
  17. Still available https://propertymanagement.unt.edu/surplus/public-sale?page=8
  18. I was looking on Dave Cambell's Texas Football site and came across the stadiums tab. Just some fun facts There are 3,724 High School Football fields in TX Average seating per stadium is 4,293.86 Total Seats available 5,320,101 Available on any given Friday night 2,660,051 https://www.texasfootball.com/stadiums/?ref=subnav
  19. Yes his numbers dropped at the end of the year. He beat teams so badly in the beginning of the year that everyone keyed on him opening up Bussey and Lawrence who had good/great second half of the year. In addition, losing Wilson, allowed teams to not worry about the run as much allowing game plans that took Guyton out of the picture. In watching the games he did not get alligator arms or shy away from contact, which would have been signs of fear of another head shot. He was just covered up with help deep for the last 6 games of the season. I expect you will see the same this year until the other recievers prove that it is a mistake to put a defender on an island against them. Makes Guyton even more valuable even if his numbers do not reflect his value.
  20. Best quote in the article! “Ever since they offered me, they have been on me more than any other school and made me feel special.”
  21. My understanding of most of the Payouts is as follows. Home team agrees to pay $xxx, xxx to the visiting team and provide X,XXX tickets to the visiting team. In addition there are clauses for travel and lodging for games in most cases. If we sell our ticket allotment we make money. If we do not we give them back to the home team who makes money...
  22. Visitor Sections are 111 and 509. Facing west so bring a hat or sunglasses if you want to see the game.
  23. Less than a mile from my work. May just have to stop in to support their buyer's good decision.
