UNT90
Only missed it by 6,300 billion. What's the big deal? stop. you're not helping. Whenever there are so many zeros behind a number, it's easy to miscount by one. You Dems, of all people, should understand that. Oh, wait, y'all never bother to count anything. Coffee and TV
My bad. 700 BILLION. Actually turned into 800 BILLION. That wasn't in any budget. Care to address that point, or want to continue the mischaracterizations of Pres. Obama's spending? Address the fact that in order to make it bi-partisan about 1/3rd of that was tax cuts? (and still no Republicans voted for it because they of course are against anything Obama is for) And a plurality of it was emergency funding for states who have balanced budget amendments so they wouldn't cut emergency services and education. Or address that a good chunk was for unemployment benefits so people could, ya know, keep their mortgages and not compound the problems we already had? When the economy collapses and the private sector can't spend money, the government has to, and that's exactly what happened. The problem with the AR&R Act was that it wasn't large enough when you're talking about a 13 trillion dollar economy.

All spending isn't enough for liberals, except military spending, of course. When you said Pres. Obama had cut the budget deficit, actually to which budget did you apply this stimulus package? Coffee and TV
Of course. All spending isn't enough for liberals, except military spending, of course. Military spending is great when it's necessary. World War II was probably the closest this country has ever come to socialism and it helped bring us out of the depression. When you said Pres. Obama had cut the budget deficit, actually to which budget did you apply this stimulus package? Stimulus package wasn't technically a part of any budget. But overall, deficit spending is down every year since.
cookecountykid
We are all Americans and I believe we all pretty much want the same thing. Partisan politics is destroying our country. Conservative, liberal how about just do the right thing and not label it. It is all about money and we are pawns......................
