Savage Named AAC Pitcher of the Week

Junior Skylar Savage was honored as American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week, the league announced on Monday.

The Van, Texas native tallied two of the three wins in the circle over conference rivals Tulsa, including a complete-game seven inning shutout on Saturday. She held the Golden Hurricane to a .152 batting average while she allowed zero runs on five hits and two walks with three strikeouts.
