1. It's replaying in full at midnight on FSSW.
2. Liberal COVAD grad here, die hard fan from the moment I toured campus in 02.
3. The one thing Idaho can take away from this game is that their frosh QB is very good. Everyone I was watching the game with was pretty impressed.
4. Wasn't Croatan carved into a tree on Roanoke island when they found the colony there abandoned?
5. <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="GL2Greatness" data-cid="695454" data-time="1355466300">
incorrect the basketball schools can't kick out the football members and if they vote to leave even if they take the Big East name they will still be forming a new conference and if they form a new conference they will not get an autobid in mens basketball for 8 years

http://www.ncaapublications.com/productdownloads/D113.pdf

20.02.5.4 Continuity. 6. <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="Mean Green 93-98" data-cid="695444" data-time="1355459696">
You lost me at UTSA. UTSA is an upgrade over nothing.

UTSA is an upgrade alone in the fact that NT gets exposure in a market that doesn't even know where NT is. That, and I get to see the Mean Green play in SA. UTSA gets a hell of a lot of attention here. I'm not jazzed about being in a conference with them either, but belly aching about it now is pointless.
7. That version was played when we knew we were going to the NO Bowl when I was attending games in the early 2000s. I like that Williams brought it back.
8. I will be there with about 6 or 7 friends for a small reunion. We all haven't been back for at least 4 years. I'm glad I made the pavilion our meeting place.
9. Heard in an interview that Big Tex will be back next year, bigger and better.
10. VaVoom is an amazing idea. I would like the Zombie Nation thing changed out for Gangnam Style. High energy, related dance, and current enough for those on the wings to join in.
11. It was nearly 10pm at halftime on a Tuesday night. Great crowd considering the day and start time.
12. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but Firstrowsports.eu has never worked for me.
13. Ok so I grew up in an Aggie family and their yell leaders have hand signs that everyone mimics up the stadium all the way to the upper tiers. Couldn't we do the same thing with cheerleader printed signs? Call it the "NT CHEER" put that on cheerleader boards. On top of all that make pep rallies at Apogee a huge event that students want to attend. Free stuff, food, bands, but teach new cheers there for the students. It may take pouring money into it, but Midnight Yell is a hugely attended event at A&M. Get the students on board with a new cheer, have some very eager alums on the alum side following and hope the alumni side follows. We have to build new traditions right now with this new push for our athletic program's relevance. The program excellence that was built when I was attending during our early SBC years is dead. The late 80s era program is dead, The Hayden Fry era program is dead. We need to forget all that. Hold on to the traditions that are still being kept and build new ones NOW.
14. This is the GBs Drumline halftime showcase. I have been watching these vids every year when they come out. This one is awesome.
15. the game is blacked out in San Antonio. Yeah I got it going now. Came up as blacked out when I first tried.
16. As much as I hate what Josh Tweeted, if we had won I can only think it would have been positive towards NT. He put his foot in his mouth on a very public forum, and instead of doing the appropriate thing as an ambassador of North Texas and apologized, he defended his statement. I don't care if an athlete has a home town allegiance despite the school who payed for his education. Just don't publish it for the world to see on a public forum. All he did was show his corner of the "twitterverse" that despite the fact that he worked hard for his scholarship as an athlete, played in the NCAA tournament representing the Mean Green, and has a NT degree in his hand, LSU was still #1 in his heart even when facing his alma mater. Its insulting to the school and alumni that supported him. If that's how Josh feels, fine. However he's held to a higher standard because hes a rep for the School. Think before you speak next time, Josh. Don't broadcast it to the world. I'll take my soapbox and go home now.
17. JJ isnt part of the Mean Green Nation anymore. After reading this article, I understand now all the flack I got after posting Riley Dodge was going to be a grad assistant at TAMU. I don't care what the new basketball coach at LSU thinks about the Mean Green football team as stated in a NOLA newspaper puff piece. I wish JJ good luck with the Tigers.
18. If LSU can't play at home what are our options? I doubt LSU will come to Denton. There are no major facilities available in North Texas. Some facilities may be available in Houston, but will not prepared for game day. There are no corresponding bye dates for either team. Do they pay us out and we both go with one less game? Do we reschedule for a game on a weekday at LSU or a nearby venue to satisfy their homegame? Or, do they forfeit the game (never gonna happen) to us?
19. Agreed. All the words were spelled correctly on the schedule so, I say give them a gold star and a smiley face, and a nice jar of paste to eat for snack time.
20. Good to know that Bee is doing well in your Bonnet there Silver.
