  1. Hoping we get some content via social media and/or pressers.
  2. Our green jerseys were stolen in Ruston. I think I heard black for tonight. Prepare yourself, Adler.
  3. When Abou is in the post, I feel that he’ll usually get off a good shot. When Sissoko is in the post, I’m hoping he doesn’t turn the ball over. They both are contributors, but in different ways. The team needs both to have a good game tomorrow.
  4. I cracked up at your comment. I gave it a double take, then put it on here.
  5. Thanks for the update. I had wondered what happened.
  6. That’s understandable. He’s paid the same regardless, so there’s no real incentive.
  7. Good for him! His salary offsets what we owe him, right?
  8. It doesn’t happen too often, but I like when he runs the offense. He’s a really good passer so when he’s the point it feels like he has a drive, pass, then shoot mentality. Glad he plays for the good guys.
  9. Yes, I meant MBB and softball, but it was a bit ambiguous. Just win, baby!
  10. I’m looking forward to the game. I welcome the 1 and 1’s. It’s fun to trash talk to different fan bases. All good.
  11. I saw a Twitter post yesterday that said, “Scott has the potential to play in the NBA.” I love his effort, his defense, and his developing offensive game. The dudes a gamer. The dudes a winner.
  12. IMO, knocks off equals wins. I don’t see it as an upset win, instead another way to say “won the game.” I’m not above being corrected on this one.
  13. This is what I think the perception is, too. “Not good enough for the NCAA Tournament.” We know the reality, but the perception of the casual fan is not reality. The NIT is not a battle for the 69th best team in the country.
  14. We beat GCU that just got the AQ. That should have helped us out, right?
  15. TP was player of the year. Walker was definitely player of the game and is incredibly talented. As I understand the award, it’s the entire body of work in the conference. TP played every game and had a more complete season (defense, scoring, durability). I don’t know that this offense had holes as much as a lack of ball movement. The scoring droughts do get frustrating, though. It eventually had the answer last night, but it waited too long to figure out what was needed. (Still don’t understand why we didn’t feed Scott on the corner 3 on a more regular basis). I think Moore is going to be a stud for us next season. I’m basing this off of the limited playing time I saw of him this season.
  16. We’d host Seton Hall? I’m in!
  17. I think we were trying to be methodical, until it didn’t make sense. We pushed the final 2 mins? 1:30?, and our guys responded. It was a bit too late, though. I felt like Rubin/Kai/Tylor could have gotten into the paint whenever they wanted to. I also felt Scott was available for the corner 3 the entire game. Feel for the team…they busted their butts all season. Hope some postseason play is in the cards.
