  1. Glad to know that he feels he’s getting a true opportunity to compete. I look forward to the QB’s pushing each other as the practices progress. GMG!
  2. This is great, JD! Thank you for sharing. I didn’t realize coaches communicated with recruits on a daily basis.
  3. No problem. Yeah, their inventory is running low. The Blue brand are quality shirts, though. Enjoy!
  4. A good number of kids are checking in on Twitter with their lanyards. It’s a good graphic and good publicity for the university. Nice work by Coach O and the staff.
  5. This kind of was GMac’s way of thinking: I want what’s best for you. If that’s here, or somewhere else, that’s what I want for you. In his way of thinking, it’s not really a farm system.
  6. I see you point. He’s also said he wants to coach, though. Learning from multiple coaching styles and/or networking can only be a good thing for him.
  7. This is where I’m seeing our wins, too. As far as potential losses are concerned: With a first year coach in our first year in the AAC, just be competitive, play disciplined, and look like we belong.
  8. Disagree. He’s graduating and is going to grad school while using basketball to pay for it. He’s likely earning some NIL money, too. He’s maximizing his opportunity. All the best, TP.
  9. Found a link. https://www.shopncaasports.com/blue-84-black-north-texas-mean-green-2023-ncaa-mens-basketball-nit-champions-t-shirt/p-132255555247076498+z-8-4113286518?_ref=p-SRP:m-GRID:i-r0c0:po-0
  10. This is where they currently play?! That’s wild! I thought this was their old arena.
  11. I don’t think he is soft. I wish he would have stopped short arming the baby hooks/lay ups and dunked more, but I don’t view that as soft. Maybe he didn’t have the confidence to dunk it? I seem to remember some missed dunks in his past. Both off the front and back of the rim. He made plenty of plays on the defensive end, too. He’s not as quick as Sissoko, but that’s not a dig on Abou. We’ll need to find a replacement. He’s a loss for sure. Especially over the course of a season. Sissoko was really good for us, but it wasn’t the grind of the season for him.
  12. That’s funny. They basically put the team on their shoulders that night. 😂
  13. I can’t imagine they’d be excited about it. Kind of like how some P5’s may view the G5’s as a developmental league. There may be some coaches that embrace it, but I can’t imagine those coaches would embrace it for the long term.
  14. What’s the difference between an official and an unofficial visit? I’ve seen both.
  15. I don’t mind the Alumni association having its own logo. I also like the diving eagle. I don’t love the diving eagle connected to UNT for sports, but I understand the use of it for academics. Thanks for sharing the info.
  16. Wish him well. Hope he finds success and I hope we find some great players in the portal, too. I’m a fan. GMG!
  17. Welcome! May grad means he’ll be here in the summer? Think that’s enough time to push for PT?
  18. Thanks, JayD. Wish him well. Sucks if he was tampered with, though.
  19. This and Gumms, right? I’d rather have them, but if there are mutual conversations, then it is what it is. If it’s tampering, then that sucks.
