Seth sounded like a coach that knows he got lucky af!

Gonna play Long Beach State tomorrow. Their length will be a challenge. They distribute the ball well but I think our defense will create a challenge for them. Should be a great game!

He probably survived a 2-10 season because he could give an interview without a minimum of 7 cliches in 3 minutes.

Grant has stated in a couple of interviews that these tournaments are the only way they can get challenging games. Nobody will do a home & home with him. Every Big 12 team in Texas and Oklahoma has declined at some point in the past 3 years.

I don’t want to play SMC again…but I’d have loved to see tonight’s performance against them! Tonight was great team ball and Perry was just feeling it! Abou needs to start finishing at the rim in a major bad way. He can’t be soft in conference play. Loved hearing Grant speak of how high this team’s ceiling can get in another month! Go Mean Green!!!

This is the toxic mentality that brings this program down…it permeates into every fiber of Denton. Just because we arent in a P5 conference, people have no concept of what a dominant G5 looks like outside of a couple dozen die hard football fans. If this is what we are always going to expect, we should just go FCS and try to compete with TAMU Commerce and forget the big boys!

NOBODY wants to play Army! They expose people with their ball control option style. It’s a wasted week of prep for defending a scheme you can translate nothing to the remaining seasons games!

This “very bad” team we beat won 23 games last season. 🙄

He shoulda been fired after the last time he lost to Rice. His buyout was the only thing that saved him. The 2018 team should have been the best team he ever put on the field. But SL effed that up royally! If he loses Saturday…a home game to a dismal Rice, he should not leave the athletic center without a couple of boxes from his office.

In the AAC, I’d like to think that we could go .500 the first year. We will be a QB shy of having a really deep roster. Seth has to win conference this year to get an extension…and I’m honestly against that. But if he were to beat nUTSAk, he probably earns it. We have to begin to out-recruit SMU. Cincinnati proved last year that the AAC champ can play in the FBS championship levels. But honestly, until out NIL program gets well off the ground, we will be lucky to land a 4* or keep our well developed youngsters. Once we enter the AAC, there will be growing pains.

There is no doubt that SL will live in the same exact house he lives in now and will work for Sonny when he gets his walking papers from WB.

Zero panic here. They are fine-Grant didn’t forget how to coach, and these kids are all trying to play roles that they didn’t play the first month of practice. Stone wouldn’t be playing if there was someone better…he will find his shot. This team will be rolling by January 1st.

7 years .500 record No hardware There really is nothing to discuss…he’s mediocre. If the donors, Wren and Neal want mediocre…they have their guy. If they want to take the next step, and moving into the AAC seems to say they do, then they have to make a change.

We were never gonna have a shot out of CUSA anyway. So none of these games matter until December!

This guy I know named Andrew said that SNU threw the game by not playing their starters in the 2nd half. He’s working on a real Woodward and Bernstein piece that is going to bring Grant, Wren, AND Seth! The smoking gun…Wren always goes in the north tunnel at halftime (where the visitors locker room is). He submitted a FOIA request for hallway surveillance film that allegedly shows Wren, Seth, and Grant stuffing multiple $100’s from their personal fat wallets into an envelope and slipping it under the door of the SNU locker room. ESPN 30 for 30 is also on the case and Andrew has taken the rest of the week off work to guide Bob Ley around campus.

I’m gonna put this to bed. Grant needed a home opener and called Hudiberg to set things up. The SNU team was presented with the option of playing it as an exhibition game. They knew they’d get killed, so they agreed to do the game if we would sit TP and let them hang around. A faction of the SNU players who don’t get much playing time rose up in a mini mutiny and said, “if we are gonna play a game that doesn’t count, then we better get equal playing time as the starters or we are all quitting.” The coaches were over the proverbial barrel, so they agreed to come to Denton and play YMCA style for a $500,000 check. The players will allegedly siphon off half of that money to their NIL accounts.

No…we make the decision. We have a say! And the 33% keep to 66% fire poll above says we aren’t happy beating crappy teams and losing to most teams we play who have a record above .500. Let’s let the season play out, but if there isn’t a new trophy in the case in December, Seth rides off into the FW sunset to help Sonny!
