Just because someone tells you no the 1st time you ask doesn't mean you don't keep trying. I would have never have married my now ex-wife had I not been persistent. To quote Dan McCarney, Why Not baseball at North Texas? Why Not?

Update regarding UNT Sports TV/Radio/Video Etc.

Can you not add apps to your carplay? Seems like loading the Varsity app would solve most if not all of your problems. Agree that the wifi signal in the stadium could be improved though. -

Why is it so hard for our fans to accept losing the twins was a huge, possibly insurmountable loss to this program? Our defense is being shredded up like mincemeat this season folks. Get real.

In April of 2021, WVU athletic director Shane Lyons announced a two-year contract extension for head football coach Neal Brown, running through the 2026 season. At the time, it felt as if the program was on its way up as Brown led the team to a 6-4 record in a COVID-shortened season. The Mountaineers won the AutoZone Liberty Bowl against Army and also went undefeated at home that season. Since the extension, Brown has a 6-9 record which now includes an embarrassing home loss to Kansas - the perennial doormat of the Big 12. With an 0-2 record to start the season, the Mountaineers are going to have to go on a miraculous run to just become bowl eligible in year four under Brown. This week's matchup against Towson is the only guaranteed win left on the schedule, which doesn't bode well for the head coach. Just a horrible showing against a D2 team. Frankly it was embarrassing to watch. Poor technique, arm tackling. It’s time for him and his group of coaching gypsies to move on.

A Silver lining from the SMU beating?
Tom McKrackin replied to Tom McKrackin's topic in Mean Green Football
I have a new appreciation for Tom Hermann after him calling our game. My only fear is if he didn’t want the job after seeing how far Seth has run it into the ground. -
I really liked Tom Herman last night. You can tell he really cares about the kids and the fans. He has a passion we really miss with Seth Nimoy.

Feel like Wren gets a pass on everything due to him hiring McCasland. How long does he get to live off of that hire tho?

A Silver lining from the SMU beating?

But UTSA doesn’t have the funding either not near the facilities and yet they can hang with teams like UofH and win championships. Give me a break with all that.- 84 replies

Maybe it forced us to look in the mirror and see where we really are. Changes are needed.

Attendance prediction for smut?
Tom McKrackin replied to Hunter Green's topic in Mean Green Football
I think it will cool down and we will get 30K -
So hear me out on this one before you downvote me. Could it be that Seth has finally figured it all out and become the head coach we hope he would be? Remember how Luke started off whining and making dumb mistakes and then as he gained experience under his jedi master Ben aka Phil Bennett as well as others he began to come into his own? I feel like Seth has always had the bloodlines and experience to be a great coach and it looks like this season it may all be finally coming together for him.

Yeah but see I really don’t give 2 5hitz about WKU. And their personnel screw ups. I care about my program UNT. You continue to come up with excuses for Seth and I just refuse to do that in year 8,

How else do you manage results at your business sir? Please enlighten us. If you lose a key employee doesn’t your boss have a right to hold you accountable?

I’m sitting here watching WKU and Austin Peay and it really saddens me to see WKUs best receiver is from Houston and would Be a stud for us. makes me wonder how great our program at UNT could be if we had the right guy at the helm, an overachiever like this guy at WKU or Trailor at UTSA.

This sounds interesting. Thanks for posting. This is pretty close to me.

Depth Chart for Good Guys vs UTEP
Tom McKrackin replied to South Texas Green's topic in Mean Green Football
In many ways Shorter is the MVP of the team. I think when he is healthy and making plays the entire program takes a huge step forward. He’s a freak athlete and no one can cover him one on one.
