I'm not that old

Agreed. Literally anything is better than our defense from last year.

Chris Petersen out at Washington
UNT Texas Hooligan replied to Jonnyeagle's topic in Mean Green Football
Correct -
I feel like I just got an early Christmas present. It is the season of coaching changes and big names constantly come available, be it firing or resigning (such as Peterson at Washington, just now) so I finally have some optimism we may right this ship for next season.

But hey, at least it isn't Portland State. Right, guys? This is a new low for this program almost to the same degree of Portland State. There is no excuse getting curb stomped by the worst team in the conference.

Time For Wren Baker To Step Up
UNT Texas Hooligan replied to BillySee58's topic in Mean Green Football
If leadership does not step up and make changes this off-season, I will not attend a single game next season. I would even be hard pressed to watch on TV. I am honestly sick and tired of going into seasons and games with blind optimism, only to constantly get disappointed or crushed. We have all the resources to be successful at North Texas, yet coaches continue to fail to live up to expectations, then give us the excuses or coaches speak as a result. Football was a pre-season pick to win the conference, we aren't even going to a bowl game. Basketball had a lot of optimism due to a jump in offseason recruiting, but the wheels are falling off that bus nice and early into the season. We as the fans deserve better as we have given so much of our time, energy, money, resources, etc. for the love of our school, only to be force fed excuses and failed expectations. The Littrell coaching staff has reached a new low. Some happy clappers may still say "Well, at least Rice isn't Portland State" but this is damn near close and an absolute embarrassment for our team and university. There is no turning back from the absolute shit show this season has turned into, and if sweeping changes aren't made in the offseason, why the hell would I come back and continue to put up with this product? I have seen that show before. This leadership needs to be under a much bigger microscope than ever because with increased salaries come increased expectations and there is no way coaches for either sport have earned theirs. Wren Baker, step up and do the right thing. You still have the fans in your corner, but if there is a failure to take action after the nose dive this season has taken and players and coaches quitting on each other, expect to be writing out more tweets next season calling out fans for a lack of attendance. -

OK, I'm being serious this time. I am really done with this team for the rest of this season. Players and coaches have obviously quit on each other so no need to continue to subject myself to this torture hoping that each game will be different because it really won't be -

This has to be the biggest display of incompetence I have seen. We had 2 weeks to prepare for a 1-9 team and we come out looking flat, unorganized, and ill-prepared. This is inexcusable and yet another game that is on the coaching staff. -

Exactly. I keep saying I won't watch then find myself crawling back week after week with a child's optimism that maybe this week will be different. We've seen this play before, know what is going to happen, yet still keep coming back. Maybe one day I'll learn... -

Wheels falling off early. Also, looks like Coach Lit is participating in No Shave November until our defense holds an opponent to under 40 points. Good luck with that, coach -
My optimism for this season continually fading away with every passing game. I know we are playing good teams this year, but this team can't score and they don't seem to be finding any sort of answer to help the scoring woes. Extremely frustrating to watch and we probably get steamrolled this game to just add to the frustrations

‘20 DE Jamie Sheriff - Gulf Coast CC
UNT Texas Hooligan replied to 97and03's topic in UNT Football Recruiting
Come to Texas, Jamie. We breed outside the family blood lines here. -
Absolutely. I loved in the English call, they called him the "touchdown machine." I used to be as far from a '9ers fan as can be, but I hope they do it this year because he has made some big contributions this year and they might not be potential Super Bowl contenders without some big plays he's made. '9ers twitter has a video of Kyle Juszczyk mic'd up and it was awesome to see how hyped they all got for him after that touchdown catch

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQdjEa-gWoc 10:44, he got the game ball for offense

Florida State throughout the years is very much a roller coaster. They have some ranked years without a stellar record, some pretty bad years, then obviously the pinnacle of winning the National Championship with Jameis "You Skrong?" Winston. They are a dumpster fire right now with no coach and potential cleaning out of the coaching staff, but you never know. Hoping it's just to angle for that 4th star

The difficulty of his catch cannot be understated as some of their fans think even most of their receivers are not making that catch. One hell of a way to celebrate your birthday. Congrats, Jeff. Much deserved for a grinder.

All over Twitter, '9ers fans were calling for Wilson to get more touches and playing time. He's constantly making things happen with the little playing time he gets.

This team can't finish... Shots or games. Frustrating

Valid points. At least we didn't give this world Lizzo and whatever the hell that is that she calls music.

National Signing Day - 11/13

State of this program; meanwhile, we have people on the team that are clearly not scholarship caliber players. -
