  1. I believe this team will be scary good. That offensive production is amazing having not played a competitive game since the CBI. Grant is absolutely the right guy for the job. Tony Benford is all but forgotten. Haha.
  2. Nice article Brett. Thanks for letting us know what the OL looks like now.
  3. Our cat loved it. She was always chasing those moving players. She messed up a ton of games. Haha.
  4. I could get the kicker to work, but sucked at hitting any FGs. Had to tie rubber bands around the leg to make the kickers leg snap. Now passing was a whole other mystery. So, we would just stop the game and throw the ball ourselves. If you hit your receiver it was a completed pass. Haha.
  5. I don't know why but this kind of reminds me of the old vibrating football set my Mom bought me for Christmas after the Cowboys won Superbowl 12. Had the Cowboys and Denver Broncos. Haha. Damn I must be getting old. I bet kids of today have no clue what that is. Haha.
  6. Mean Green win big. 94-54. I like that we are still scoring in the 90s. No matter who you play, when you can put 90 on the board, you have great offensive production.
  7. Agree wholeheartedly with @MeanGreen01
  8. Dang it. I was hoping they would knock off OU, but I still have confidence in this team.
  9. Does anyone know if this is open to the public or is it a closed scrimmage?
  10. Exactly why I bought the TD Terrace. I do not sit in my seat anyway and I get all the club perks and can always get out of the sun by sitting in the silver chairs at the silver tables just behind the club seats and see just as much as the person sitting in the club seats.
  11. I agree with your order for the most part except I would move UTSA above UAB. I believe we have to dominate the Texas schools for recruiting purposes.
  12. Thanks Brett. I knew you would get me straight. As soon as they put the lettering down, can you snap us a couple of pics?
  13. Thanks for setting me straight. I do not follow the Cowboys because I am a Steelers fan so I didn't know who their kicker is. I was just watching last night to see Wilson and saw that guy miss. Well, maybe another team has kicking woes.
  14. Come on @Brett Vito. You cover North Texas so get us some pictures of the new endzones instead of some Clemson National Championship ring. Haha.
  15. Whoever is number 2 for the Cowboys missed a 52 yarder badly last night. Didn't have the distance or accuracy and there was very little pressure from the defense. Maybe they should give Trevor a shot. He has made those in bigger pressure situations than what number 2 faced last night.
  16. I was hoping the same thing. If he does get cut, I hope he ends up with the Steelers. I am biased though because I am a Steelers fan. With Le'veon Bell holding out for ridiculous money for a RB in this pass happy league, I think he could easily replace the pass production we lose from not having Bell. Outside of Bell, all the Steelers RBs are really just bruisers who are not good in the passing game or open field. Jeff is good in both of those. They would not need him to run a lot, just catch the ball in space and do what he does. Besides, the Steelers have had great success with Mean Green players. Three come to mind right away. "Mean Joe" Greene, Ron Shanklin, and Erric Pegram. All three played in Super Bowls with the Steelers.
  17. I get what you are saying, but with our O-line problems I do not see it being a good idea if teams score 35 a game on us hoping we will outscore them. That happened too much last season and we often relied on a guy named Trevor Moore (anyone ever heard of him?) to pull us through. I seem to remember a Dolphins team in the NFL, with arguably the best QB to ever play the game in Dan Marino, scoring a ton of points, but they couldn't stop teams from scoring. It was a shame really because IMO, Marino is the best QB to ever play the game to not win a championship. Now if the line can keep Mason upright, then this may be an effective strategy. I may just be too old school, but I still think defense wins championships. I do understand in today's game it is harder for defenses to keep offenses from scoring, but I would much rather see us keep teams under 30 because I believe our offense has the ability to put 30 up on most teams including a lot of P5 teams.
  18. They basically said our defense sucks and cannot stop or slow down anyone. That's what I took away.
  19. Good article. I do hope the defense is improved this year.
  20. Thanks for the info. I kept coming to that 404 page and didn't know what the hell was going on. Haha.
  21. I do take it with a grain of salt. As I stated earlier, I would not buy them if you actually use your seat. I would spend the extra money to stay out of the sun. However, I rarely, if at all, sit down at the games. I am usually walking back and forth as the ball moves up and down the field. So since I do not use my seat, it was better for me. Anyone who actually sits in their seats, I would suggest they spend they spend the extra money. Just my thoughts.
