Being a Steelers fan, I would love to see him in black and gold. Besides, we need a good ILB with speed since Shazier was lost. Plus, he is bigger than Shazier was. Maybe he can be the next NFL hall of famer to play defense for the Steelers from North Texas kind of like a guy people called Mean Joe. Okay I am getting ahead of myself, but I can dream.

I knew he would transfer when he was recruited. Some had him rated a 3 star and others a 2 star. I think UNT offered him because they were still in the process of improving their recruiting and felt like he was the best they could get until recruiting improved. In other words, I felt like he was a band aid until they could get a real fix. Once they had a winning season in 2017 and Luke Walerius came on board, recruiting improved drastically and they quickly brought in 2 QBs in Bean and Martin. I knew for sure that spelled the end of Cade. Him not playing in the NM Bowl told him that he was not going to play here. I think he is a good kid and I think he wants to succeed and will work hard. I hope he does succeed somewhere.

I was at the Women's game and I do not understand why Coach Mitchell was not putting on a full court press most of the game. UTSA had 7 players and I believe the press would have worn them out. Towards the end they were tiring, but we dug ourselves too big a hole to climb out of. Plus, we were absolutely atrocious offensively. We could not buy a basket.

This was a great game. Our women are getting it done.

While most watch the men, the women are quietly racking up wins. They thoroughly defeated UTEP tonight. They led from start to finish and beat UTEP 70-51 to go to 3-0 in conference. Also Coach Mitchell reached 50 wins faster than any coach in UNT history. I try and go to both men and women games at the Super Pit. The defense by the women tonight was just amazing. Hopefully they continue this dominance this Saturday against UTSA.

I am like others. I think he had too many drops this year and seemed to get lost in double teams. I hope he succeeds because it will definitely help our program if he does.

I think Cade Pearson will transfer out based on the fact that he was the only QB that did not get an opportunity against Utah.

The women thoroughly dominated Southern Miss yesterday. Maybe their OOC schedule is starting to pay dividends. If they can keep this up, I expect a lot more wins. Plus, they did that away from the Super Pit. They are 2-0 in conference. They have some firsts as well. This week was the first wins in Ruston and Hattiesburg. They did not leave any doubt in both games who was the better team.

I don't know when they plan to open the new arena either, but I doubt they will spend the money to perform those upgrades because they plan on building the new arena.

I am guessing he forgot about the Rice game. I am glad that they finally got this 15-1. Maybe they will play better. Part of me felt like they were feeling the pressure of getting this record and it has affected the way they were playing. Like taking shots that were clearly not good looks, but pressing to make them happen anyway. Now that the pressure of getting the record is gone, they can relax and play the basketball that they are capable of playing.

While I agree that we probably won't make it through the conference without a loss, I disagree with we're not capable. I think they are very capable of going through the conference without a loss. It would be tough, but they definitely have the ability. Will they do it? Probably not, but can they? Yes.

The only way we move up after USM is if we thoroughly dominate them from start to finish.

I am with you on this. I left UNT for one semester to attend UTA. I hated it there and came back to UNT and never looked back. Although I did not like UTA, I do not waste my time going to their fan page, if they have one, just to bad mouth the school because I did not like it there. We get it, he doesn't like UNT. But for someone who didn't like UNT and left, he sure spends a lot of time on our page. He is like the a person whose girlfriend broke up with him and he says he doesn't care about her, but yet spends all his time following her around and bad mouthing the new guy that she is dating. Sounds like to me he is bitter that he didn't graduate from the Mean Green.

I will be there. Come hell or high water, I will make it. I am not going to let the weather stop me.

If we can win Thursday, that should put us in a very good position. We need to pack the Pit this Thursday and cheer on the MBB team. It would be super nice if the WBB team can beat LaTech on that same day in Ruston.

The team I watched over the last 25 minutes of this game is the team I hope we see the rest of the way. That was a good road win against a team that came out firing on all cylinders.

The ESPN announcers are messing up names. The one guy called Draper's name drapper so many times in the beginning.

That's good. The kid is a heck of a ball player. Too bad Mac didn't give him a shot at UNT. He would have been a monster alongside Ejiya and playing for SL. It is scary how good our LB corps would have been with those two flying around.

I agree. He was pretty average this year. I am guessing that he heard some good things that convinced him to go now. I wish the kid success, but I have a feeling that he may be an UDFA. He will certainly get a shot to make a team. I agree with this too. Players are starting to leave this program. I am beginning to believe that they think FW was the wrong guy for the job. He is a great recruiter, but not a good coach. Kind of reminds me of Benford. Can bring in talent, but that talent regresses under him instead of progressing.

Is this just for the men's game or will the women be on ESPN+ as well? I am asking because I watch both. I will cancel my CUSA if both will be predominantly on ESPN+. If not, I will keep it so I can watch both men and women play.
