I can see us striving to be like WSU in that regard. It will be hard to compete with Memphis because they play in the FEDEX Forum, which is where the Grizzlies play. That would be equivalent to us playing in the American Airlines Center where the Mavericks play. That won't happen. Most college teams don't have that.

I went to their fan forum and the way they were talking trash about our university is crazy and I am not talking just athletics. Based on what a lot of them were saying, they think we are a trash university and not just athletics. We have almost three times their student population, five years older than them, have five more colleges than them, offer more than twice the number of undergrad degrees, offer more than 40 more masters than them , three times more doctoral degrees, and our budget is more than $350,000,000 more than theirs, but they think they are better.

I don't hate Seth because I always knew that his heart was not here. His heart was always with OU and I don't blame the man because that is his alma mater and where he always wanted to go since he was a child. He was hoping his success ay UNT would lead him to OU as the HC, but it did not. He ended up there as an OC. If we could find a great HC that was also a UNT alumni, we wouldn't be upset if his heart was always on coaching UNT even if he was coaching at UTSA or SMU to get to UNT. I really wish that PC got some good coaching experience other than the RB coach because I know that he loves UNT.

I don't know if it is about the money for him. He loves North Texas. He, however, does need a raise. It's criminal that every coach on the roster makes more than him (including all the coaches from the last place defense in the FBS) with maybe the exception of the QB coach and I think their salary is the same.
