I love watching 9 or 10PM MWC games on Saturday night....Great way to wind down a football day.....As there are not 6 other games being played at the same time from the middle and east schools.....a lots of viewers would get to see us play....

Band was nice, not too loud....fajitas for food offering, local craft beers....place was packed, more tables than I remember before.....Hope it stays this way all year!!!! This is they way it should be.....may have to increase the size if this keeps up....

Look, we didn't get the result we were hoping for. Look at the in perspective. Take away 2 fluke plays. A 46yd Hail Mary on 3rd and 45, and a 88 yds zip up the middle, we were right in there. Stop either, or both of those single plays, who know. Blame AM for some plays, but if you watched the play on some of those misses, the receivers stopped running once they got open. That is so HS if them. We made mistakes, yes we did...but this was a 4 okay loss for UNT. I do think MF needs to get on the field from time to time to get used to the speed. I still see good things to come!!

Mason Fine is about the same size ar Ward from Houston. That give me a good feeling.

What I think is that SL believes he can recruit many more High Caliber QB's to come to UNT over his tenure here, and does not have to worry about red shirting any of them. Fine will play this year, and have an opportunity to start for 3 years, but will have to win the job against, what I hope to be a constant flow of competitive QB's coming into our system.... This is what I am hoping for....
