  1. Most likely a fractured bone in foot. I feel for Wilson. He’s been one of my favorite players to watch at North Texas. One hell of a player. Thanks for giving it all you got game in and game out buddy!
  2. That’s just the edge all good coaches have
  3. I think the team will prepare accordingly for this one... plus a LA Tech co-worker told me that the starting quarterback is in a boot and will be out?? I'll take UNT: 45 LAT: 34
  4. I know this is next year's problem, but I'd imagine Seth's phone is ringing quite often with offers. I really hope we can keep him for a couple more years.
  5. Speaking of fine..... for the second week in a row, Conference USA reporter of the week goes to Madi Morris!
  6. So... nUTSAck’s yellow money bucket? It’s a way to incentivize players for scoring touchdowns... Not sure I get it? Are they paying their players for every touch down?
  7. Congrats Jalen! I vote Mandi for Conference USA reporter of the week.
  8. I have been a club member for 4 years, and will continue to be, but I someone what agree with this. There isn't a huge value add coming from being a club member, and if there was an immense amount of school pride, or an awesome product associated with the club (I.e. Continuous winning seasons) then the high value add wouldn't be as necessary. But due to the abscence, the AD department should make it more than worth the donation. This is can be done a couple of different ways. First, the aforementioned inside, behind the scene access for club members is a great idea and makes people feel more apart of the program. Second, imo I think it would be awesome if it was almost structured as a credit card rewards program where priority points (which I'm not even sure they're tracking anymore) could be redeemed for autographed memorabilia/access to exclusive events/game day gear and the higher you donate and longer you're a member the more points you earn. Lastly, at a minimum make it worth it for people who don't live in the dfw area and can't regularly attend games but want to support the program.
  9. Does anyone have a good bar suggestion? thanks in advance
  10. "I have reached out to UNT once or twice, but have not heard anything yet," Echols-Luper said. Why would we not reach back immediately?
  11. What should go there if it was up to you?

  13. It sounds like we're on the same page. As far as creativity goes, I remember when I was an undergrad and graduate student, we would do extensive research on the opponents players (girlfriends, newspaper articles, football stats, thigs related to high school, facebook review etc.) and would come up with extremely creative things to yell down to the field. We never took it too far, and hardly ever yelled profanity, and it was greatness. I remember opposing players would look back in confusion as if thinking, in one specific case, "how in the world do these guys know I lost prom king, my starting spot on the roster, and SGA president election during my senior year of high school and how do they now me and my girlfriend just broke up.... who are these guys???" it was great to see how much we could get under the skin of some players. Unfortunately, it general resulted in them flipping us off and pointing at the scoreboard at the end of the game for most of my time in college. I feel like our student section lost most of that creativity, sadly.
  14. I was one of the "out of hand" booers so I have to say something on this...... SERIOUSLY DAWG. It's a football game. If your team scores you cheer like crazy, if your team scores on a huge play you cheer like crazy, even louder, if the other team is on offense, you yell at the top of your lungs, if the refs consistently make awful calls that negatively adversely affect your team you boo them off the field. It blows my mind how people get upset over fandom. that being said, I do think profanity is unnecessary and should be avoided and respect should be given to injured opponents, but other than that, give em hell.
  15. I went to the OU/Texas game and still managed to make it to the UNT game. No excuses.
  16. Has anyone heard how he's doing? He hobbled off during OT and appeared to be in a lot of pain.
  17. It may not be his job, but don't you want a an AD who sees that, thinks it's unacceptable, and personally sees to it that it gets fixed immediately. I never talk about Rick, but we really need someone who is driven to make UNT athletics great. We're never going to be more than the Mud Dawgs when we have an AD giving half assed effort.
  18. Santa brought me the green Columbia sweater vest.
