Fair enough....Lets see if NT can play at that level they played at thru the first five games of this season. If they do... they can cover that.

There's only one team with a OVERALL record equal to NT record and that's UAB...both 9-3 before conference championship. Just feel overall wins should count for something.

So Marshall gets to come to Dallas with a 8-4 record.....wonder how many fans they'll bring. Yet...NT gets to go to New Mexico with a 9-3 record. Obviously...the powers that make these decisions aren't worried about attendance. Only good thing I can see is for those who want to jump to the MWC this is your bowl.

It talks about building a new stadium??? They built one right before they quit football. If I remember correctly NT played one game there. High aspirations.......

I would be all in to let GH go to Tech. Let them play offense for only 1/2 a game... I still don't see SL getting his big break this year. Yea he won 9 games against a weak schedule, should of been more, last year wins west division...loses bad in the bowl game...OK, its looks like he signed a good class this year but not official yet. Just don't see it. .

It's a " fun" stat...that we are even mentioned in a stat.with Alabama like this. Doesn't have to mean anything.

I don't know the answer to conference affiliation. I like the idea of MWC affiliation but we've tried the western Avenue approach before, Big West, and it didn't work out. Plus I was able to attend 2 away games this year and doubt I could go west to see MWC away games. Not a easy solution.

I'm personally not sure what UNT should do about conference affiliation. I do see that as soon as we accepted the invite from CISA all the teams I was excited to play bailed and went elsewhere and we ended up in Sun Belt 2.0. If we were to jump ship with CUSA I would hope the powers that be would make sure the conference we'd be going to would be adding UNT and not adding a bunch of new schools changing what we thought was a better conference. Only one worse conference division than us...Sun Belt west....THATS WHERE WE CAME FROM....we didn't improve our conference affiliation when we moved to CUSA. But there are those who will deny this...to bad. My question to all would be, "where do you want to be in 5 years or more. Stay where we're at or keep moving up the food chain"?

19000 is pushing it but possibly. Lots of military personnel and from where I sat they have problems getting their students to attend too....course 3-8 didn't help.

I wasn't going to say it but since it was brought up.....I agree the loss to ODU may not be any where near as bad as PSU but it definitely made the list.
