  1. Thompson had two interceptions. One of which was off a tip. The Ohio player that scored ran right past and over our guys on his way into the endzone Tettleton had two interceptions. Neither one was tipped. On Trice's interception, Ohio punched the ball loose while he was attempting to make it to the endzone. 3. Awesome. We just beat them in soccer on FSSW sunday afternoon. Now we get to do it in volleyball.
  4. We have always had great teams in women's soccer. Our physical conditioning is clearly evident. These TV games are great for our program. Next sunday we play OU on FSSW at noon. GMG.
  5. We looked way more physically stronger than TCU. More top 25 votes for us in the future.
  6. Yes, it's exactly the time to blow the place up. That intro video is great.
  7. Greg Tepper: I hate the word "gutty" to describe how a team plays, but I can't think of any better term to describe the Roadrunners' effort against New Mexico. There are a number of times where other teams would've lied down, and Larry Coker's crew never did. -Dave Campbell's Texas Football Power Poll A 99-yard touchdown drive with three minutes left gave the Roadrunners an eight-point lead and a defensive stop near midfield clinched the game.- SportsDay DFW by The Dallas Morning News I understand you might not count them, but everyone else seems to. That includes sports writers, University ADs, the NCAA, the BCS, conferences, etc. Regardless of what they may or may not have earned, their games count dfferently than Sam Houston or Texas Southern. For FBS teams, their games count the same as everyone else does. The time to question the validity of either school in FBS is past. They are FBS schools now so we might as well treat them that way.
  8. Channel 8 (ABC) News with George Riba had no coverage. They didn't even post the score.
  9. INSPIRATIONAL. Zach Orr is a credit to our team and our univeristy.
  10. Prediction: Pain for Idaho. We grill 'em, roast 'em, bake 'em, fry 'em, and mash 'em up and win by 28.
  11. Mentioning how strong we are academically was definitely a big plus.
  12. Haha. Awesome pic. Congratulations to you and your family!
  13. I expect my football team to show up with their "I didn't come here to lose" t-shirts under their uni's. I expect our cheer staff to actually cheer and loudly encourage the crowd,(on BOTH SIDES of the stadium), to participate in the game rather than do gymnastics and perfunctory pom-pom shaking. I expect the Band to take total responsibility for promoting school spirit starting in the parking lot, all the way into and at the stadium. And to celebrate this great school with performances that have lots of "showmanship".....instead of just showing up and playing their requisite song list. Good expectations. A big part of the college football experience is relentless Cheer-Leaders and a Spirited Band that helps the team and the crowd by playing the right music at the right times. Is there a game day coordinator that oversees these two integral parts so that they work together in harmony to enhance the game day experience?
  14. When we line-up, we are going to surprise a lot of people with how solid we really are. The Congrove has got it right: we are going to have a winning season.
  15. What's good for UNT-Dallas is definitely good for UNT-Denton in the bigger picture of things. Although they are considered a seperate school, they definitely spawned from us. Registration for classes at UNT-Dallas came through UNT-Denton in the early phases. When they were getting ready to go independent, their Registrar, Asst. Registrar, and Registrar staff came to UNT for training on how to handle things by themselves. I worked in our Registrar's Office from '07 to '11 and personally trained a few of their staff members. They came up on a weekly rotating basis. They leaned on us until they were able to walk on their own. We are considered the mothership, so to speak, and we have a good relationship with them. I've been down to the UNT-Dallas campus; it's small but it's nice.
