Here's another vote to stay out of it. Do not get involved. Alums trying to tell students who are spending their own money form part time jobs for college do not want someone who graduated 20 years ago to tell them how to think and what to do, that's why they wanted to get out of the house and move away in the first place. I know fans here are passionate about the Stadium, but a lot of students are just itching for a "cause". Seeing a bunch of alums throwing money to persuade them will not go over well. There are pro stadium stuydents around that are doing a good job educating others and getting the word out.......don't undo what they have done.

He was moving it around a lot on the sidelines after he came off and they were examining him, if he was doing that, it doesn't seem like it could be that bad........Well if it had to happen this is the week for it....Two weeks to heal up......

It was a good turn out, even with the messy weather, the room was full. Just some observations for the future events, be sure to try and get there early to get a booth or recliner in the media room. They were prime real estate. But even if you can't get in the room, you can still sit anywhere else in the resaturant and get a good view of the TVs. It's definately somewhere you can get good food and drinks and still bring the family. Former NT standout Maurice Holman was in attendance. I can't deny that the drummers cadence during the video was poor timing, and they should have amde a bigger deal about it, but I still looked around and saw quite a few people watching. You'd have a tough time finding someone who attended the game who didn't notice the signage on the walls, the floor signs at ramp entrances and the signs over the unrinals.(I was actually loooking at that rather than aiming for the bee) This wasn't a do or die one and only chance, situation with the video. I'm sure they will play it again, and I'm sure it will be available on the website. Give them a chance to present the whole package. The actual video was about five minutes longer than the version showed at Fouts. I for one think it's a step in the right direction. I was particularly pleased with all of the talk of the "green" structure they were trying to build. A stadium that draws interest as a "green" facility can only help in the PR campaign. You wanted stadium talk.........5 pages and counting

LSU is definately a box I checked off and I have no plans on returning there. Miserable place with miserable fans. Usually you get some friendly banter at away games and the occasional drunk idiot, but at LSU, 95% of the fans never even attended LSU and most are drunk idiots. The tickets they gave us that year had us stretched out from end zone to end zone on the first few rows. There really wasn't a "UNT" section. Worst away game experience by far.

I still have mine too.... Of course the "Flying worm" t-shirts he had made were classic too... That had to be the first shirt that had the Worm on it in 20 years. I still have mine, but I'm afraid to wear it much...collectors item. It still says "Mean Green Club" on the back

I am really glad we could get this going! The Pourhouse is an excellent venue for game watching parties! The Media room is Awesome! Whoever makes it up to the coach's show will not be disappointed! Excellent choice by the AD on the venue. We are planning some of the dates for official Gomeangreen.com events. Until then stop by and check it out. They really push it as a Sports Grill rather than sports bar, I plan on taking the wife and kids for dinner sometime this week.......No offense to Stebo, but we have really come far since the the late 90's and the meet ups at the Tavern on Fry. gmg
