Compare SMU when it got accepted to CUSA to where UNT is today. We r a slam dunk !!

CUSA is going to walk away from Florida and DFW so they can be strong in Memphis and Birmingham !! Not going to happen. Do we bring the DFW market like SMU did....yes. You will never have a presence n a market if u r not n it !! CUSA west .. UNT , UTEP, RICE, TULSA, La TECH, Memphis..revenue is from TV and filling the stadiums!!!! Create regional competition were fans can travel to the games and save on travel expense ! We could send our band to all of these locations.

Memphis is going to fly to DFW and catch a connecting flight to Laramie !!! It not going to happen ! Forget DFW and Florida because we have the Birmingham market ! The goal n these conferences has to be fill up stadiums ! That is done by regional competition. UTEP is pushing for UNT and La Tech ! Both conf need to form an east division and west division. West... Tulsa , Unt, Rice, Utep, La Tech , Memphis. Then have a CUSA champion and a MWC champion. They play at Jerrys Place for a championship.

U cant have 2 playoff games within a conf. Can u have a championship game between two conf. ?

Why ? So they can travel cross country to play a game. Oh yea and keep the Wyoming market and forget DFW and FLORIDA !!! Get real.

Timing !! They better get what they can get now. DFW is opened now who is knocking on the door . Hopefully CUSA AND MWC. Go to 12 u would create more regional comp. and actually save on travel cost and create a Championship game more $. Eq Tulsa to Denton or to Marshall ! This could b our homerun !!

For us to be attractive for a conf we have to have a potential mkt. With SMU gone we now have DFW as one of our bargaining chips. The champion of CUSA MWC gets an AQ !! The future is a playoff n college football.

Get off the sofa and drive to Tulsa, Houston, Sheveport . Southwest to Little Rock and drive to Memphis ( go thru Jonesboro sorry ark state ) Southwest to New Orleans and El Paso. As they will come to our market !!!

This is awesome ! UNT, Tulsa, Rice, Utep, Memphis, La Tech, Tulane n CUSA west. CUSA playoff with the CUSA east and then a playoff with the MWC. We could come out better than the SMU move by having travel partners to fill up stadiums !!

The Greeks will need to move, to make room for the English Club and Film Club. Oh and they don't drink or sleep on sofas ! As I'm sure u didn't as a student. U can see organizations that r proud and put forth the time and effort to support the team and the school. As always don't judge all by the action of a few. As I will respect n ur case!

Big East has the AQ why divide it up ? This goes to show that we will not get into a conference that SMU is in. I hope SMU and the Big Easy conf. works out. UNT will have more options.

This guy needs to run for President. CUSA and MWC need to forget about AQ and bowl games and need to set up the playoff system. The decision is real simple "show me the money" ! Be the first and others will follow . The bowl system and the NCAA are obsolete ! The days r numbered. GMG !

Take UTEP to the MWC and add UNT to CUSA . Look at the road trips that would b possible. This conf has to make money by filling stadiums! Generate TV interest thru a play off system with championship game at Jerry's Place ! LaTech is sweating bullits

Home run for UNT !! Not only get into the CUSA , but an improved CUSA with a playoff with MWC. TCU has done fine recruiting and not being n a AQ conference. This could b the first good size league to have a playoff system. CUSA West - UNT, La Tech, Tulsa, Utep,Tulane,Rice.... nice ,close enough to travel and this would have to make the academic meatheads happy !!!

CUSA , MWC, Mac need to come up with a different format than the Super Conf. because they will never b a Super Conf. The revenue for these 3 conf is going to come from filling stadiums! CUSA West UNT, Rice, Tulane,La Tech, Tulsa, Utep. Have CUSA west interplay with the MWC all games on Pac Coast time must start by 6:00. Form a CUSA East that interplays with the MAC. Out of this create a playoff ! Playoff is going to happen! U want to create rivalries go to the pro format. Create divisions and play each team n ur division twice . How quickly would a rivalries b created playing a team twice a year both at home and away! This would fill stadiums and keep travel costs down. Divisions with playoffs is a direction these 3 conf need to look at, stop using a format that that will not work for ur Conf or members !

SMU and Houston better be praying that the BE can survive. ! It is there only option! Hopefully this opens the door to CUSA and the MWC. MWC because they don't have any options for DFW. We should also hope the BE survives.

U r dead on. This could b a windfall for UNT. We may not have the record but CUSA and the MWC will not have any other options for DFW! I could c them both make a move. CUSA adds us and La Tech. MWC adds us and UTEP.!
