No way that record is correct. Maybe a record since 2000, but not from earlier eras when we hosted Texas, DePaul, Tech, LSU, Smut, etc.

Here is a 9 min video someone posted in another thread of highlights of his game at TCU vs Baylor. He throws a nice ball, and as mentioned, has experience in games at the P5 level. He's not just a transfer from a Dll school.

I think the reason he chose UNT is both 1.) the QB starter's job is open, and 2.) the school is still near home for him (DFW). Again, for the players that want to stay in this area or come back to this area, our location is one of the biggest selling points we have!

The ESPN game announcers were talking up Hodge being one of the best defensive coaches in the country, plus his coaching background...like trying to encourage a bigger program to come snatch him. Grrrr
