  1. I would give Hodge a B. We beat the cupcakes and probably lost a game or two we shouldn't have. Can't prevent injuries but can have a better bench ready for such a situation. It makes no sense to have cheerleaders in team uniforms sitting idle on the bench every game. Every player was signed intentionally and must have one small thing they can do well? Even if it gives a starter only a 1 minute break...put them in the game for that skill.
  2. Something is going on inside the program there (besides injuries) if I was betting on the real reason...
  3. Stone is a defensive specialist and a 6th or 7th man. When he is starting and jacking up 3-pt attempts it says we are really hurting as a team. I don't understand why Cotton or Moore, or other bench guys don't get some playing time now instead?
  4. The team is sleepwalking.
  5. Poor offensive sets and no emotion by the team today.
  6. Stone is a liability in this game.
  7. Don't tell @ADLER we are wearing the black unis today...
  8. Battle for First at Halton as Charlotte Hosts North Texas Saturday "- The Mean Green nickname originally was coined in 1966 in support of the defense of North Texas' football team. In 1973, Hayden Fry, Head Football Coach and Athletic Director, officially adopted the nickname for the team. In 2000, the Mean Green was officially trademarked and adopted by every North Texas program, while the Eagles remained as the mascot." https://charlotte49ers.com/news/2024/1/19/mens-basketball-battle-for-first-at-halton-as-charlotte-hosts-north-texas-saturday.aspx
  9. It's probably him then, thanks!
  10. The lady on the bottom right in this photo (white sweater, both hands on face) knows what is about to happen! lol Also could have been a foul call here on #3 (above^) hacking the arm of Allen.
  11. So, did the DL commit...not commit? DL was one of the weakest links on the team last year....besides DC.
  12. If this was in mid-game probably. But I think refs are hesitant to make a game-changing call at the very end of a game. It will only bring them a spotlight of criticism from one side or the other.
  13. No, the player never moved from a push because there was no push. It was Allen's momentum when he turned around his hand appears to come off the player's back like a push but there was no movement by the player. No complaint by him to the ref either...only from the coach thinking he saw a push from his sideline view.
  14. Aune had a career (minor league baseball) before opting back into college football. That's different than a guy not wanting to work and join the real world.
  15. It was a comment that Coach Burton is the best women’s coach we’ve had since Coach Petersen. I agree, but Coach Aston was good too before being hired away by Texas.
  16. Allen just had his arms extended to the ECU player’s back to let him know he was there, similar to guard play. The ECU guy would have turned around had he been shoved off his position; he never moved. No foul, only sour grapes!
  17. “The Mean Green are headed to Charlotte this Saturday in a matchup of two improving teams.” Improving? I think winning in NCAAs, CBI, and NIT is beyond the label of an improving program.
  18. Michigan analysts apparently got travel to opponent's games to scout sign signals for their offenses, lol.
  19. I just picked a random AAC roster from 2023...UTSA. They had 19 players 300 pounds or greater (and a few at 295). UNT had 12 players. That is beef. https://www.espn.com/college-football/team/roster/_/id/2636/utsa-roadrunners https://www.espn.com/college-football/team/roster/_/id/249/north-texas-mean-green
  20. It's also a former CBI champ playing another former CBI champ.
  21. Still undersized as a team. Need more Beef!
  22. ECU Basketball Coach Mike Schwartz postgame press conference for the last second loss to North Texas
  23. You are on the wrong fan board....take your crying to the ECU board!
  24. "The 55-page filing in Mecklenburg County marks the latest in the procedural jockeying between the ACC and Florida State over that school's challenge to the league's grant of rights." https://www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/39331484/acc-court-filing-accuses-fsu-breach-contract-seeks-damages
