  1. Go ahead and make another pro football league for me not to care about. That will free up even more of my time on Saturday’s in the fall. Rick
  2. I guess I better pay better attention to yours and willie’s sensitivities from now on. Rick
  3. It’s not. Doesn’t mean people won’t try it. Rick
  4. I’m not the one to first mention Trump and you were the first one that brought politics into this thread genius. Why don’t you do yourself a favor and put me on ignore? Rick
  5. I just misquoted a number from a news story and yet still got it more overall accurate than you did. Edit: In fact, I was correct after all. I knew I had seen 1500 somewhere...from the original Washington Examiner article I linked to: ...”While some other schools locked the doors to dorms after spring break and as the pandemic spread, Falwell said he let 1,500 students return to dorms under strict rules of social distancing. Most returned because they had elderly parents at home they wanted to keep safe, or they didn’t have internet, or they were international students’... Rick
  6. Antonio Gandy-Golden....(Went 5-51 and no TD’s against the Mean Green in 2018). “Redskins draft pick from Liberty says he had coronavirus” https://www.bing.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/5228876002 ..”"During my pre-draft training, I tested positive for COVID-19 on March 24," Gandy-Golden said in a statement. "My symptoms thankfully were mild, but I self-quarantined for two weeks and followed all guidelines from health experts. I was fully cleared April 7. I feel 100% now and can’t wait to get on the field for the Redskins ASAP! #HTTR!!" Rick
  7. Those political panties are wadded up so tight you just can’t read fast enough. ...”At least one student who returned to Liberty University“... Returned means he was off campus. In fact, if memory serves he was training for a shot in the NFL when he tested positive. And yes, I missed the 1100 students, not 1500. You got me🙄. Heres one from Sunday. https://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/may/24/liberal-media-taking-liberties-with-jerry-falwell-/ ...”Liberty University, which the media predicted would be Ground Zero for a deadly outbreak of coronavirus, has not reported a single on-campus case. Not one. .....On March 30, The Washington Post ran an editorial, “Irresponsible decisions like Jerry Falwell Jr.’s put untold numbers of people at risk.” The Post cited The New York Times’ contention that about a dozen Liberty students “were sick with symptoms that suggested COVID-19.” It turns out that the students had common colds or the flu or something other than COVID-19. Only one student tested positive, and he was living off-campus. Several other universities, such as Rutgers, Pepperdine, Valencia and Texas A&M, introduced similar policies, but only Liberty was singled out for a press whipping”... Rick
  8. 1500 students remained on campus and not one got Cov-19. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/washington-secrets/liberty-university-wrongly-declared-a-virus-disaster-now-the-model-to-follow-falwell
  9. It sure is but doesn’t prove masks and 6 feet of distance make it more safe from Cov-19 for me to watch a football game outside. Rick
  10. Novil. For his size he’s extremely athletic. He plays a tough position that rarely gets any credit,...and now and then gets credit for it anyways. I list him as our best shot to be the next Mean Green player to play at the next level. Rick
  11. Because both have proven separately as well as combine to save lives and prevent injury for going on 135 years now(seat belts)? Rick
  12. Not for the guy on the right it wasn’t. And is the guy in the white shirt selling beer with no mask or even gloves on???? How dare he?😇 Rick
  13. Which leads me to ask.....If masks work, why do we need to be separated by 6 feet? If being separated by 6 feet works why do we need masks?
  14. Your absolutely correct on all of the above, but that’s the way it usually always is. . We never seem to get to vet a life time appointee near enough most of the time. But then we’ll turn around and re-elect a Grainger, Kennedy, Cornyn, or a Biden for a life time despite countless hiccups over the course of their careers. I’d suggest Mark Levin’s book on the history of the Supreme Court “Men In Black” for a good insight to how interesting and imperfect the choices have been over the years. But as far as Kavanaugh goes...I’m not sure how much more blood they could have squeezed from that turnip. They were down to digging through the man’s high school year book and guesstimating over what kids wrote in it for crying out loud. It was becoming beyond ridiculous imo. Rick
  15. We gotta get back to work building our program. Can’t worry about everyone else. I guarantee La Tech isn’t worried about us. Two years ago we embarrassed hog nation and the country took notice and we were the football apple of C-USA’s eye. We have a men’s basketball program at the top of the conference and a women’s softball program that’s starting to rattle some national cages. Our base is in place to take right back up where we left off and strive to the next levels in those sports. I like our future.
  16. While doing some restoration work on the “66 I came across this Booger hanky in a tool box in my garage.. Brings back a lot of great memories. Rick
  17. Yes. It changed nearly every shift for a week or two but we worked the kinks out. Rick
  18. Ferrer wouldn’t have received so much mocking criticism if she hadn’t misspoke and scared the hell out of everyone by stating their lock downs were going to continue the next 3 months. Which caused mayor Garcetti to walk back, then followed by an apology by Ferrer herself while clarifying what she originally meant. . And no one gives a damn who or where the criticism comes from. People Are hurting, especially The business owners, all who are fed up with the shutdown $hit by government leaders who seem so out of touch while.still getting paid themselves.
