  1. Yes, please delete this whole thread then block any further attempts on another tread to predict the future of Seth Littrell! I am sick of these Seth Littrell will be hired away! Bull Shit! Seth will stay with the Mean Green for a good while! Some day the Mean Green may lose Seth, but not any time soon! Here is a story- I took the wife down on Lower Greenville Ave for brunch Sunday morning. I wore a Mean Green Polo shirt. I had at least 7-9 people say to me "Great Game Mean Green!", "You guys kicked the hogs ass!" , 'Way to go Mean Green!" and other props to the Mean Green! The last guy to offer his congratulations said to me, " You guys played a great game! Dominated the Razorbacks! " then came this - " Seth Littrell is too good to be at North Texas! He needs to be some where else ! I had some words with this knucklehead then my wife and I went on our way. My wife said "who the F was that guy?" " That guy has a major problem!" I said to her, "that guy does not believe in the Mean Green!" F him!
  2. A big Mean Green thank you to the Lovelace family, for your donation and for making things happen! You guys are Champions in the Mean Green Nation! Again, thank you very much! Outstanding!
  3. I worry about the home grown refs from the sec who seem to call penalties against NT on the most critical plays of the game that favor NT!
  4. Our true fullback is Cannon Maki, 5-11, 233 power house! Cannon is a lead blocker on running plays and carry the ball up the middle when needed. I would like to see Cannon get into the game plans more. Plays on special teams. Kevin Smith,# 87, 6-2, 252 is a TE playing like a WR, but lines up in the back field with Mason, then goes into motion, blocks on runs or with pass plays gets separation on DB's. Very good receiver! NFL prospect!
  5. Myself and 5 friends were at this game at Texas Stadium. Big crowd! Loud! Only, the North Texas lost this game something like 31-14. North Texas moved the ball up and down the field, only to have turnovers kill the game for North Texas. The team played well though. Bigger and better things were to come to this team.
  6. I have watched NT vs $mu at Fouts Field, Texas Stadium, Ford Stadium, and now at Apogee !
  7. For my choice, I pick TE Caleb Chumley!
  8. For my adopted player, I choose TE Caleb Chumley! At 6-5, 258, Caleb is a massive target! In the Southern Miss game last season, Caleb caught a 43 yard pass from Mason Fine! What a beautiful play for a huge first down! Seems like Caleb would catch only one pass in the remaining games played last season. Caleb had 14 catches totaling 89 yards last season! So I hope OC Harrell can find more ways to use Caleb more this season!
  9. Central Market is located at the corner of Greenville Ave and Lovers Lane. If you like Thai food, I would recommend the Thai Thai Restaurant in Lower Greenville, corner of Greenville and Ross next to the CVS. I wear my Mean Green gear all the time here in the lower Greenville area. I like to piss off the $mu alums in the area. But you know what? I see alums from just about every major college here in the lower Greenville area. I receive many "Hey Mean Green" from people here on Greenville. Cool to be recognized! I see school battle flags hung up on their homes
  10. That is a good idea to set up a Seth is Leaving thread. I am sick of North Texas fans already giving up and believing that Seth will leave at the end of the season. Just maybe Seth likes coaching the Mean Green, and maybe his family likes living in Denton. This place can be a monster, as per Seth!
  11. No chance in hell Coach Littrell would go to Tx Tech! Coach Littrell is a much smarter guy than to choose something like Kansas or Tx Tech to hire on at. Geez! I will be seeing the Littrell speculation all year! If Coach Littrell wants to leave North Texas he will pick his own choice of a program instead of what the talking sports guys dream up.
  12. I tried to watch this video. A pop up message says I cannot watch this video on my device, or any other media source. Crap!
  13. IMHO, Seth Littrell will not be leaving North Texas for some other gig, especially a dump like Tx Tech. Here are my thoughts. Some people are forgetting Home Boy is the HFC at Tech. Home Boy shows any improvement he will stay another year or longer. All the sports talking heads are trying to come up with news stories daily stating Seth Littrell will not staying at North Texas which is their big news. I have seen the same story probably 50,000 times, this year alone! Towards the end of the season, the same crap story will feed the sports talking heads with more fodder for their sports reporting. Seth Littrell has what all coaches want - an administration that supports all athletic programs, the University President that supports the coaches and their work, and a AD that is developing all North Texas athletics! Salary is not always the number on factor. Look at Frank Solich at Ohio- he is still working at Ohio and has a great team every year. Solich has turned down better offers. Solich likes where he is at! I believe Seth Littrell likes where he is at, and likes what he is doing for North Texas. Seth Littrell will be at North Texas for a long time to come! So stop with the speculation that Littrell will leave North Texas. Littrell knows what he is doing and he can see that North Texas is a very good gig to have!
  14. Congratulations to you Kealon on your scholarship to North Texas! You and Jevin are in the Mean Green family! Both of you will love North Texas!
  15. Congratulations to you Jevin! Welcome to the Mean Green family!
  16. I bought my copy of DCTF today at the Kroger store, corner of Mockingbird and Greenville Ave. $10.95 !
