  1. “But U-N-T (Who!) U-N-T, we love” doesn’t work for me either
  2. 4-8 would be a disaster with our easy OOC. I don’t see us winning less than 5 with all the talent we have on offense.
  3. Okay, it’s still a G5 program. And Houston was just an example. The point is, I’d rather stay at 6 home games and schedule H/Hs with known programs than buy 7th home games with FCS opponents.
  4. We play at Army in 2029. That's a road G5 game. And what makes you so sure we won't schedule road games as part of a H/H series (especially in '28 and '29) that see us getting a return games in 2031 and beyond? For example, I'd much rather schedule a H/H with Houston that sees us on the road in 2028 and the Cougars coming to Denton in 2031.
  5. Add Florida Atlantic to that list. They just announced they’re dropping FAU from athletics branding and only using the Owl logo, Florida state outline, and Florida Atlantic.
  6. Because it’s another leadership group wanting to put their stamp on the university. They couldn’t care less that it’s abandoning decades of established branding and tradition. What pisses me off about is the total lack of communication from the University and Athletic Department. We’ve been trending towards this change for 4-5 years and there hasn’t been one official announcement.
  7. We’re in the best G5 conference. Beating an FCS school isn’t going to hurt our chances as long as we win the AAC.
  8. I said Players Transferring. It's the worst by-product of NIL. Players should only get 1 free transfer. After that, you have to sit a year.
  9. Grabbed a bottle this weekend. They seem to be back in stock after being unavailable for months. Really enjoyed it neat and made a great old fashioned.
  10. Hot take: our shitty locker room, and mediocre weight room hurt us way more than the Alamodome and pavilion practice field hurts UTSA. The expansion/renovation of the athletic building needs to start yesterday.
  11. Not a huge fan of the Wing either, but our stadium is still great and better than 90% of G5 stadiums. These rankings are ass outside the top 25. Pretty sure his only "research" was blindly throwing darts.

  13. Considering what Tulane did last year and the talent SMU is bringing in, it’s absurd to rank UTSA above them.
  14. A lot of college players aren’t thinking about that when they commit. And most employers don’t give AF where your degree is from. It’s mostly about relations with coaches, playing time, and now NIL. And like you said, guys can transfer whenever they want now. There’s less and less school loyalty in today’s game. I agree with your overall point, but saying it’s a 40 year decision is a little hyperbolic.
  15. What makes it a 40 year decision? They're only in college 4-5 years.
  16. Not in sports. Especially, for pro athletes. I imagine at some point, college players will have to sign contracts stipulating when they can transfer and/or how much the program is owed if they do transfer.
  17. This combo has been a possibility for years. We've just never gone with it. Probably because it doesn't look good. IMO, if there was more black on the pants it would be solid.
  18. I was at Desert Door a couple of months ago. Really cool spot. I really liked the "Original" that's similar to tequila. Extremely smooth. But the "Oak Aged" and "Conservation Series" were gross. Tasted like someone filtered whiskey through a wet gym sock.
  19. I hope you like him too. He's our best secondary player coming back.
  20. Here's Craven's explanation for saying the secondary is a strength: Still doesn't make sense to call them a strength right now. Especially, when he called out the Oline and WRs as potential shortfalls. If the secondary is a strength of this team it would be a big surprise.
  21. Our defensive secondary?? I don't think many UNT fans would consider our secondary a strength. We were 110 in passing defense last year and gave up TONS of big plays.
  22. I would bet everything I own SMU goes over 7.5. I believe Vegas has them at 8. I think they go 9-3 with losses to OU, TCU, and a surprise conference loss.
  23. Definitely is still bourbon, just not as good IMO. My big gripe about Texas bourbon is that its really expensive for the quality. Most of them run between $40-$60 but have the quality of a $30 Kentucky bourbon.
  24. You're wrong. Bourbon can be made anywhere in the United States. Think bourbon has to be made in Kentucky? Think again. Definition of Bourbon according to the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau Notice nothing about Kentucky is mentioned?
  25. Mavs will likely boot Football off The Freak a couple of times in the fall once they start play in October. Trying to coordinate basketball would be a nightmare. Like Mosley said, its not ideal having every other game broadcast on a different station.
