at least it's an evening kickoff. It was pretty toasty there a couple of years ago for the mid-day kick.

I absolutely love the show. I like the calmness our coaches bring to the sideline. It's always easy to be a screamer. It's waaaay tougher to be a calm teacher, especially in the heat of a battle in front of a nice crowd. If i was a parent looking at that show, I'd want my boy to play for them. Steady, calming influences up and down that staff. Our stadium really looks nice on the show too.

what I saw this morning is that the front will be well past Denton in the early afternoon and heading toward Houston. -

Great to hear. An OU fan that I work with said she'd never seen anything like the U of H fans. The language and aggressiveness of the coug fans was a real turnoff for the whole program. Having class still matters.

was not impressed w/ the arm of the Rice QB. I'm not scared.

At least it didn't mess up their game

I worry mostly about our wide receivers. Young receivers or receivers w/o a great deal of ball skill will drop alot of balls and kill promising drives. if we catch better than i think we can, I think we have a good shot at winning 34-28.

I had knee surgery yesterday so I cannot make the first couple games of the season. I have 2 seats in section 208, row 7, seats 1 & 2. Great to be on the end of the row. I have a blue parking pass to throw in as well. $50 and I'll pay for UPS delivery. Email me @ ed.collopy@invesco.com. Thanks! GMG

play....remember...if you're good enough to play at a big boy school, you've most likely been the star on your team since pee wee ball. They all have egos and pride. Most will want to play. -
i just looked at their roster...nowhere to be found...bummer

is he still with the Cowboys? did he play on Saturday?

I was so pumped when I saw him out there. He got a ton of playing time....and early....not the 4th quarter mop up stuff for the guys most likely not making a team.

it's tough hiring even an asst from a huge program. the issues and jobs are just so different. I'd rather have someone that was the lead dog at a place like sam houston or SFA and has done a great job.

anyone that knew about that sick bastard and didn't turn him in is also a sick bastard. I'm sorry guys, but if my close friend did that, I'd have to turn him in. I don't know how somebody could just ignore an accusation like that and go on with life. Not only that, but work with the guy and celebrate w/ him after big wins. Either Paterno can store emotions in his head away better than anyone else, or he didn't really know. Sad no matter what.
