I don't know man...watching those games, they're were hustling pretty good out there. 2nd half of the Western game, we couldn't get the shots to go when we needed them. Slaughter hit those back to back three's that were just killer. They tried to gut one out, it was just too little, too late. The MTSU game, we completely dominated them physically. That's really what I was referring to in my previous post. The WKU fans were really impressed with how physically tough NT played MT in the quarters. They were not looking forward to the match up with us in the next round. I talked to a ton of their fans, and UNT was the only team that they really feared could beat them in the tourney. They were largely dismissive of UALR, Troy, and USA. Not trying to be argumentative, just trying to pass along many of WKU's fan's sentiment about UNT. It's a small thing, but significant in meaning to me. To have fans of a team like WKU, who has been the league power forever, view UNT as a legitimate threat to them bodes well for us going forward.
