Avery Redmond

Avery Redmond, 6'0 freshman guard from Plano East High School is on the UNT roster with all the usual guys. I saw a highlight reel of him on Youtube. Of course, it is a highlight reel so everyone looks good. But, this kid was 1st team all d0strict playing PG last year for a good high school program.

With him learning from Josh and playing with him, I expect this kid to give us some minutes to spell Josh at times. I say move Alzee to the SG permanently as Dom's back-up there. Wtih RJ at the 2 also, I think we have a lot of versatility in the backcourt.

I don't want to sound like I'm knocking the kid... I hope he comes in here and earns a role. But he's a replacement for Antoine Matlock, not someone I'd expect to push Alzee aside.
