Ladies Win #7 On The Season

I've been a fan of Brittney James the entire season. Looks ike Slinker finally took the shackles off of her.

That is a great win for your team. Louisiana-Monroe doesn't lose very many in Fant-Ewing Coliseum. In fact, their ladies had a 41-11 record at home over the past three or four seasons before you guys handed them another loss there.

ANY win is great this year.

Very true. This is a team that is totally underachieving this year. This is a team with the talent to win the West division of the SBC and will not even make the tournament...unless they take everyone...in which case NT gets the last seed.

They DO take every team in the SBC tournament....and we're not even close to being the last seed.

Wow I didn't realize FAU was that bad.

Looks like we won't be the last seed, but one of the last three or four.

Well we're ahead of two others...just in our division. (We should be ahead of ULM.... 4-9 is a better record than 4-10. Plus, in the East....we're tied with Troy (technically....not sure who won the head to head matchup). Plus, South Bama is catchable. So, we're no where near the last seed....and could if things, worked out right....even move into position to host a game. Seeds 4-8 play a home game, and seeds 9-13 go on the road (1st round). As of right now....we'd be either the 9th or 10th seed.

That actually says a great deal about how good the Sun Belt really is in women's hoops. FAU's four wins are against Akron, Alabama State, Campbell, and Ohio. Campbell is inarguably the worst team they've played currently sitting in last place in the must worse Atlantic Sun. Alabama State sits a 6th place in the 10-team SWAC. Akron is last in the MAC East and last overall in the MAC. Ohio is 3rd in the MAC East and 5th overall in the 12-member league. Ohio beat Eastern Michigan last night. EMU is the MAC West #2 team. FAU won the Atlantic Sun title last season and is finding out this season just how good the Sun Belt really is.
