Here's a little synopsis of the five non-BCS football conferences:

Pac-10 - 1

SEC - 10

Mid-American Conference

Big East - 5

Big 10 - 16

Big 12 - 3

Pac 10 - None

Mountain West Conference

Games against 1-AA - 5

BCS teams scheduled - 13

By conference:

ACC - 2

Big East - 1

Big 10 - 1

Big 12 - 5

Ind - 1

Pac 10 - 2

SEC - 1

Sun Belt Conference

Games against 1-AA - 3

Against other non-BCS - 11

BCS teams scheduled - 24

By conference:

ACC - 6

Big East - 2

Big 10 - None

Big 12 - 8

Pac 10 - None

SEC - 8

Western Athletic Conference

Games against 1-AA - 7

Against other non-BCS - 13

BCS teams scheduled - 18

By conference:

ACC - 1

Big East - None

Big 10 - 3

Big 12 - 2

Pac 10 - 9

SEC - 3

The BCS conferences are playing the following non-BCS:

ACC - 21

Big East - 12

Big 10 - 20

Big 12 - 24

Ind - 1

Pac 10 - 12

SEC - 24

The most accessible BCS conferences are the Big 12 and the SEC, who have scheduled games against someone from all five non-BCS conferences. The least willing to play anyone from the SBC is the Big 10. North Texas has never played any member of the Big 10; it is the only BCS conference with that distinction. We have played every Big 12 school except Iowa State and every SEC school except Georgia and South Carolina.

Anyway, there you have it. The WAC is more apt to play a 1-AA team, the MWC plays more non-BCS OOC opponents and the SBC plays more BCS teams per member (3.0).
