Jamal Lewis in big trouble

He is accused of distributing cocaine in 2000.

I really hope this isn't true because I like the way he plays, but if he is guilty, I hope he is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

It is odd that this happend in 2000 and they didn't see fit to prosecute him then, but four years later after a 2,000 yard season this happens. Sounds like someone trying to make a name for his or her self. I have heard that they really don't have much on him and he will walk, that it was a staged conversation between him and a childhood friend, and all Lewis said was "yeah". That's just some things I have read and heard and I assume the truth will come out soon enough. If he is innocent, his name will always be tainted, and fans who look for any little thing to whine about pro athletes about will take this and run with it guilty or not.
