This is what I would like to see happen Wilson shows he can do the job in Sping Practice and makes it easy on Dodge to redshirt Vizza for his first year. Then i would like to see Wilson really take over for the next two years, then we turn it over to Vizza for the next three. I know this takes Riley Dodge out of the equation but i really dont think he is going to come to NT. If he has the same kind of year this year as he had last year then he will get a chance from a BCS school. If he does come here then it should be one hell of a battle between Vizza and Dodge in 2009.

If I'm not mistaken the University could vote to allow Alchol to be sold in the Stadium. I believe the NCAA has allowed the sale of alchol on campus now if you want to.

I just look at like this. If this kid is what TD wanted then we would have gotten him. Dodge has seen this kid play for 6 years and didnt think he could help us so im not to worried about it.

And the best thing about that stadium, It was built in the middle of a pasture, for less then 1mil. We could easly build that type of stadium and once the program is established then expand. I promise that if you went out to just a few fairly wealthy alumni and asked them to help start a Baseball team you could get a couple to join in, and presto your ready to go. In fact NCTC started their's by hiring Kevin Darwin, which in turn went to his brother Danny and asked him to sponser a Golf Tournament. All proceeds from that Tournament went to starting a baseball team. They then went to the City of Gainesville and Gainesville High School and struck a deal to share Locke Field from them. Once the program was established they went to Coke a Cola and Coke said YES and built them a new stadium. Two years later they were JUCO NATIONAL CHAMPIONS. So it can be done, and it doesnt have to be done with a lot of money.

Forget the late start comment, I think this is a very good class period. when was the last time our recruiting list STARTED with the AP All State Teams and the branched our from there?

According to the UA website the only college teams they have now are Maryland, Auburn, and Texas Tech If this is true it could open up many doors previosly locked to us the fans. If we are only the fourth team that has our unis made by UA then they will undoubtly be able to market our merchandise to a wide audience.

I would really liked to see this packaged with the spring game somehow? Like maybe a GMG BBQ for players and fans on a nice SPRING SATURDAY afternoon, followed by the GMG bowl at FOUTS field, to then be followed by the Green/White game. There could even be an intermission between the two with the Green Brigade giving a nice little show, and then have a concert following the Green/White game (acts such as Bowling for Soup or Cross Canadian Ragweed types). Hell Promote the hell out of this and make it one ticket for all, use the GMG bowl to rasie moeny for the andrew smith scholorhip fund and the green white game to sell season tickets. Between all of this i would think we could get 10k or so to show up and support there school on what could turn out to be a great event every year to sell the University and Football team

Well by looking at some of the other Underarmour Uniforms around the country, we can probably expect a few things. First, they will not be a classic look like we have now, expect lines or stripes or both Second, They will probably not be one color, or even two, most have at least a three color scheme Third, we will definly look more big time because as far as I know we will be one of only a handful of teams with UA on our Jersery's and Fourth, i would expect the S of W on the helmet for two reasons. One, we dont have an official NT so that is more then likely out of the question (hope im wrong) and Two, if there going to change the helmont there is realistically only three options, the color, the logo, the facemask. If the color is changed it would probably be to white. I dont beleive the words North Texas in green would look very good on a white helment. So therfore no matter the color of helmont a major change to the helmont would have to be a new logo and i believe it will be the S of W.

the third was Stoffles (he redshirted at TT this year and is going into spring ball as a backup LB (he played DT at Gainesville)). Dont expect much from this years squad either, but word around town is the incoming classes seem to be loaded again.

Hate to break the news to ya but its going to be a good three or four years before theres any more talent coming out of Gainesville, its to bad he wasnt still around the last three years, as they have produced at least 3 D-1 prospects and all three mentiond they wanted to go to NT, but only one was offered and he was stolen by a BIG XII school, one other one (who is starting for TECH) wasnt even scouted do to NT thinking he was to good for them, and the other one is on the two deep at TECH but was told by NT last year that he was too small for D-1
