Ive got news for ya, with the offense that Dodge employes we could put on a better show and be a better football team then Dickey had, but may see a score much worse then 56-7. Then again we could see a much closer game as well, but when you throw the ball around you have a tendency to stop the clock witch makes the game longer and gives the better team more of a chance to put a game away.

I think some off yall need to realize that when Doge says "This is my starter for the year, and he doesnt need to look over his shoulder" isnt saying that no matter what this is the guy for all twelve games. What he is saying is that if Meager goes out on the first series in Norman and throws a pick, he doesnt have to worry that the next series will be Vizza's. But if after two, three, or four games it is obvious that Meager is not very good and cant get the job done, then Dodge will make a change. Remember He is here to win, nothing more, nothing less Now in saying that, I hope the only time Vizza sees the field this year is in mop up duty, but only time will tell

From what I can tell in the articles concerning practice it looks like the QB battle is down to a two horse race. If neither one seperates themsleves over the next 4 days and by the end of Saturday's scrimmage it is basically a tie. Who gets the starters nod???????? Daniel Meager Giovanni Vizza

technically but not my first game was Texas Stadium in I think 98' against A&M( it was on the road(not at fouts)) but realistcally it was '02 versus Texas

Just for everyones information this is an ESPN game, so if you dont want to support SMU with ticket sales and to stay out of the heat you can watch it on the a big screen in the comfort of air conditioning

I agree with you whole heartedly except for one fact, the NCAA cleared these young men to attend and play witch means that they could achieve a minimal level of academic success in the NCAAs opinon. So I understand his frustration in that the NCAA told these kids yes, so he offered them a scholorship and told them they were ready to go, but then SC came back afterwards and told them they couldnt attend.
