  1. Hate to burst your bubble but Louisville is BCS there now part of the Big East which is considered a BCS conference (although most "experts" say it is a lower tier BCS conference then the other 5)
  2. Im going to throw 1 name out there this guy is a proven winner as a coordnator did a fair job at maybe the hardest job in america and is available BOB DAVIE
  3. I think we are also forgetting that Michigan and OSU could play each other and both be undefeated. If there are no other teams undfeated and this game is very close, could you see a rematch in the BCS title game?
  4. My Vote would be Bob Davie right away. He was a great coordnator at AM and had a decent career at Notre Dame. he knows the state of Texas very well, and has enough star power to generate a buzz around denton, without having to break the bank to get him IMO
  5. How ironic, that the game that saved his NT coaching career 5 years ago, could be the game that ends his coaching career this year.
  6. My mom is a director of small business development in this area. She has a lot of experience in helpeing small businesses get off the ground. She has helped start Little Guy Movers, Hubcaps Sports Bar in Gainesville as well as quite a few other places. She can really get you started and on the right track both financially and strategically. PM me if you would like her contact information.
  7. I am currently a restaurant manager and live in Krum. Im looking for something closer to home, as i have a 45 minute drive each way to work and would love a chance to work in a place like this.
  8. I would deffintly recommend them, my mom is a small business development director and hleped these guys get started.
  9. I have been VERY impressed with our defense. theyve had to play 70% of the 1st half and minus the first score, theyve at least made Texas work for the rest.
  10. Just got back from Austin, and SOH looked like the real deal in person. Hes big, and fast. That guy was around the ball all night, and has a real attitude to boot.
  11. Where you living at in Hawaii, I have an Uncle that owns a tattoo shop on Waikiki Beach.
  12. Im going to stay with my man Matt Phillips. I said it last year that if he gets a chance he would show us something and now i believe hes gone out and won the starting postion
  13. If I remember right Hershal Walker went to the now defunct AFL, which is simillar to the CFL. Also, Rocket Ishmail (although a WR, but mainly a return specialist) also went to the CFL before applying his craft at the NFL level
  14. I believe you have your Gainesville offensive lineman confused. Robert Westbrook signed with Southeastern Oklahoma. My understanding is that NT told Stoffles that if he was two inches taller he would of been offered. His plans at this time is to become a preferred walk-on at Texas Tech.
  15. Sent the check in the mail today. Sorry guys for being so late but i had hernia surgery two weeks ago and just completly forgot, but im still planning on playing, injury and all, becasue to play for the white team means if you have to play in pain then you do so, cuz WINNERS never quit.
  16. As far as people complaining about why we are adding a baseball team vs. saving for a new stadium lets look at the conference issue. We have to do whatever it takes to try and upgrade our ATHLETIC program. Look at SMU and UTEP, while baseball didnt hurt their chances of getting into CUSA take a look at what those other programs had to offer that we didnt. Neither one of the three had baseball, but SMU has the $$$$. enough said. UTEP has a big name coach and an potential of 40,000 fans for most home games. Now compare that to us and its easy to see why we were not chosen. If we would of had baseball at the time, maybe that swings us ahead of the other two. Also as far a title 9 goes, baseball isnt that much of a demanding title 9 sport. Although their are 30 or so players on a team, i believe that it only count for 11 scholorships ( i could be wrong on that ). If thats the case then we should be okay as far as title 9 goes with our present womans lineup.
  17. Well i guess ill start it off Im in Bio = Have fun Med. Shirt = GreenNawlinsVet - XL
  18. Mean Joe is currently on the Ticket with the Hardline, giving GREAT Pub to North Texas.
  19. Personally i listen to both stations. I like the ticket more becasue jsut like what was said earlier is that is is "guy talk" and just sports talk. The ticket is like a bunch of friends getting together over some beers on a random Saturday night. 75% sports, 20% girls and all that implies, and 5% random "stuff". Meanwhile ESPN is more like coworkers getting together around the water cooler the monday after a good round of NCAA and NFL football and discussing the games.
  20. If im not mistaken the "IVY" League is a league of their own. Their not D-1, D-1A or D-1AA. I could be mistaken but i know that in football their league champion is not elegible to go to the playoffs. If you remember Harvard went undefeated a couple years back but had to settle for just 10-0 becuase the IVY league is not affilitated with any sub D-1 playoff system.
  21. Personally i would like to see us head WEST, as that would by far be the most competive game of the three imo
  22. Id be in, how much we talkin here?
