Thank you to La Tech, our Best Rival

I think La Tech has always been the "How in the hell do they keep doing it so well' school that you look at as a way to measure our program. UTSA is someone I hate the thought of losing to -

Stopping the Keystone pipeline, restrictions on new oil and natural gas leases on public lands, changes to regulatory requirements that impact operations and financing. Look. I am sure for every issues I put up you can find a "source" that will counter. I base most of my belief from knowing people who have worked in the oil industry for 30+ years. Talking to them and hearing what they believe.- 119 replies

They will continue to be a strong recruiter in Texas if we play them or not. Have been strong here for 40+ years. We talk about wanting to play good regional games. Hopefully we are more concerned about our success than what our failure would do for them. -

Agree in many cases, but if you do not believe his actions against the US energy industry had immediate and financial impact against Americans you are naïve. We were at the point of being able to supply our own oil and gas needs, now we are not. His actions did impact this. -

So when Pelosi refused President Trump's request to bring in National Guard troops before January 6th that was all his fault also, correct? -

If President Trump had not pushed NATO so hard they would in no way be in any shape to be confronting Russia at this time. You need to get over yourself with your hate of Trump. I noticed you have no issue with Biden's energy policy that once again made us oil dependent, and allowing Russia to make billions of dollars in energy to support their War efforts- 119 replies

Grambling St. hires ex-Baylor coach Art Briles as OC

Isn't he the same one who once said of a player for the Redskins that was accused of domestic violence that it was "small potatoes compared to other things"- 40 replies

Remember several on here have appointed themselves judge and jury. They understand more than most and get to decide who deserves a second chance and who does not meet their standards. I am sure they turn their backs on those in their lives who made mistakes; just to be consistent.- 40 replies

Agree. When players finish the Spring and are not happy or it looks like they might not get playing time another batch will hit. Then the race will be on to get them on campus and enrolled for Sumer School

As long as Europe has to count on Russia for oil and gas it's hard to punish them. -

Does China use this to make a push on Taiwan? -
I think cases like his are what was naively envisioned when the transfer portal was originally established. A method for players who were not getting playing time to more easily move on.

UNT #3 in final 2021-22 mid major poll
El Paso Eagle replied to Jonnyeagle's topic in Mean Green Basketball
“Mid-major is a term used in American NCAA Division I college sports, especially men's basketball, to refer to athletic conferences that are not among the so-called "Power Five conferences" (the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, and SEC), the American, the Atlantic 10, the Big East, and the Mountain West, the programs of which are sometimes referred to as "high majors" by comparison. The term "mid-major" was coined in 1977 by Jack Kvancz, head coach of Catholic University's men's basketball team.” Schools, like Gonzaga and BYU are considered "high majors" -
Sadly in agreement. This time of the year they are looking for reasons to keep mid-majors out and find a way to put in as many teams as they can from Power conferences. Look no further than a 14-14 OU with only 4 conference wins still being considered.
