  1. So we talk about how "special" this team and how we should be getting more respect - then someone celebrates beating the team with the best road records in the NCAA's and we make fun if them? Guess in the end, deep down, a lot of people don't really think were that special of a BB school. P.S. the UTEP BB players called the fans down to come celebrate with them, they did not rush the floor. Guess they (UTEP players) have more respect for our team than some here
  2. Think smu took him on envisioning another future donor
  3. On a positive, it will amp up the NMSU-UTEP rivalry
  4. UTEP fans and post game host talking about this being one of their most significant wins in years and a change for their program
  5. Other than Perry, no one over 50% 🤢🤮
  6. So thankful for Bell, but this is bad no matter how you spin it
  7. The UTEP post game show said without a doubt, Free throws cost us this game. The commented how this was the only glaring weakness of the UNT program and were surprised how poorly we shoot them.
  8. Golding has been complimentary of Grant and them team. He is hard to dislike. Bigger fan of Grant's but would not mind seeing him coach us one day
  9. Golding has made several comments about being able to take advantage of the height advantage when we went small
  10. Just hate hearing how well they did. They have said some nice things but of course it's pro UTEP. I hate losing to UTEP more than anyone else
  11. Me listening to the UTEP post game on KROD.com
  12. And you still felt the need to take a swipe at a UNT supporter. Wow
  13. We seem to keep forgetting that the Athletic department does not own the Super Pit. Renovations would have to me based on what the University has planned. Build a nice 7K seat arena
  14. Seems that some groups (from both sides) believe in their causes so blindly that they feel it is beneath them to need to discuss and explain "why" because those that oppose their points of view are not enlightened enough to understand anyway, or they just prefer to accuse the opposing person or group of being some type of phobic in hopes it will stir up public backlash.
  15. Per Footballscoop.com Los Angeles Rams: TCU assistant head coach, run game coordinator and running backs coach Ra'Shaad Samples is taking the LA Rams running backs job, tweets Matt Zenitz of On3.
  16. Seems more and more groups that demand their points of views be heard and respected have absolutely no desire to listen to or show respect to those who they disagree with.
  17. Some of the newer fans might not understand just how true this statement is
  18. I almost believed you until you said curling
  19. Take nothing away from the D's improvement this past season but the standard it was measured against was low. Let's see what happens this year.
  20. Maybe one day UNT's version of Tilman Fertitta, or better yet a T Boone Pickens will emerge. They are proof, albeit rare, one man can make a big difference.
  21. On Facebook it seems everyone is OK. His comment - "Someone ran the stopsign at Collins and Ragland when I was on my home from Saturdays basketball game."
  22. I think this should have been done a long time ago. Giver credit where credit is due. I also have a feeling that school in the Alamo city is studying their footprint
  23. And we still like to put stories up about former donors who now support other programs 🛌
